QUOTE(kennt0312 @ Jul 8 2009, 12:08 PM) yup it is still rubber material, i am not sure is there any different with the smokestack with Hasbro, the only dfferent i know is the chest piece colour (Takara is gray that more accurate with movie) and also the colour of Takara and Hasbro Prime is different. crap, then there's not much reason for me to get takara, sorry busta_dude. i thought takara use a hard plastic smokestack. To me i prefer the colour of Takara la, still need to see yourself like it or not. |

QUOTE(lumhbk @ Jul 28 2009, 10:52 AM) Anyone going to Hasbro Warehouse Sale this Saturday/Sunday at Shah Alam? Sure Got cheap cheap Transformers .. really? it never happened before. i think hasbro's smarter than that. they won't sell flagship toys cheap especially during a craze (look at how many new names joining the club recently). |

QUOTE(Ashstar @ Aug 6 2009, 12:19 AM) BIB is a term only popular amongst local collectors. MIB and MISB are both popular terms used by international collectors to differentiate brand new, sealed items or opened items in good condition, with box. Therefore the seller was actually right to report the item as MIB (Mint In Box), provided the item is still in great condition of course. my sentiment exactly. before joining this forum, i've never even heard of the BIB term. there was only MISB, MIB and loose. MIB is suppose to mean that the item was taken out from the box, either displayed or played, but is still in good condition. it does not apply however to items that have loose joints but still comes with the box. maybe these items could be classified as BIB as they are not "Mint" anymore. You'll come across plenty of these when dealing on eBay (foreign seller) or other forums. Hope this helps to me, the MIB and BIB used in this forum, or most local forum for that matter is quite confusing indeed. so if i have a good condition, displayed only item, it is still not "mint". only items that never leave the box is mint? if so, then these terms can only apply to resellers, not collectors. collectors tends to admire their items by taking them out of the packaging. the fact is, these terms are used to describe the item condition when they are being sold, not how they are stored. example, "im selling this optimus MIB". saying "i'm seliing this item BIB" just doesn't make sense. |
