hi there, one question, did you managed to transform your Mudflap correctly into the robot mode?

I faced problem when I tried to attach his back part (car's roof top piece) onto the notch at the back of his head.

Seems like the wheels on both right and left arms are blocking the back part (car's roof top piece) to be exactly fit in and attach to the notch at the back of his head. Still can see some distance between the protruded piece (back of his head) and the notch (back part-car's roof top piece) even after I close the back part (car's roof top iece) tightly close to his body.

Could it be the two doors beside his head blocking it? because as I see from your picture there, you folded the doors in a different way than is shown in the manual. The Mudflap in the picture has doors folded horizontally while I saw from the manual is vertically.

or did I do any steps wrongly causing this? Need some advices from you guys.

Added on July 12, 2009, 9:35 amsame here. I was not able to find any sign of Sideswipe at most toy stores at my place here as well.
but according to sources, a restock might be coming somewhere around November 2009.
But I think Swerve is coming end of this month or next month. But I still prefer the silver coloured Sideswipe.

my ROTF collections so far:

Bumblebee, Cannon Bumblebee, Skids, Mudflap, Sideways, Desert Brawl, Interrogator Barricade, Optimus Prime, IronHide, Ratchet & Starscream.

Left three more which are Grindor, Jolt, Sideswipe and then that's it. The end for my ROTF collections.

Nope. I only collect those that I like.

Furthermore, budget and space to keep them are also my concerns.

I feel that after 2 years is ok, at least you have stopped for two years tho. hehe

I didn't manage to collect any figure at all during TF movie 1 and now movie 2 ROTF coming only I started the collections.

What do you guys think about ROTF deluxe class Jolt?

Eventhough the duration of his appearance in the movie was like few seconds only, he can be seen at the airfield and last part of the movie when he assists in charging parts for combining Jetfire and Optimus Prime. But I remember clearly that he has a very cool looking robot mode.

As for him in the deluxe class toy, I like his car mode pretty much but very disappointed with his robot mode. his robot mode has this glasses on his knees and weird feet. Overall, the upper body and arms are fine, just that the legs and feet are unacceptable.
Don't know why he has been designed in such a way that is totally not movie accurate as compared to other deluxe class figures such as Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Sideways, the Twins and etc.

What do you guys think?

you mean they selling RM180 for a Takara ROTF deluxe Sideswipe?

Don't buy it, really not worth, they know now Sideswipe is hard to find, out of stock at most places so they purposely fry the price up sky high.

Don't let them earn, might as well wait for restock somewhere around November this year.

How come I checked with few shops, for the same model/character, they all have different on sale date? some shop already got the stock and selling some shop said they will only get the stock later on. so weird...

I have both but when i transform the deluxe BB into the car, the paint on both of the doors doesn't seem to be same as the rest of the body part. the yellow colour on the doors were like lighter yellow. The right door cannot be close tightly and the rear left wheels can't seem to be rotate smoothly. sigh...got a faulty model. But anyway, it looks awesome when in robot mode with the blaster cannon.

As for the Cannon BB, the car mode is superb especially with the metallic -like blue windscreen and windows.wheels all can spin nicely and doors can close tightly, no issue like the deluxe BB that I got. Just that I don't really like the robot mode because it is not movie accurate due to the chest piece cannot be moved. it is stationary in one whole piece. Other than that, it doesn't have any blaster weapon, only two shoulder cannons.
