Charged my i4 till 100% before going to sleep last night, but only 92% left this morning after 6-8 hours in standby.

Played some games+ 3Ginternet for barely 3.5 hours(15-16 hours standby) and my battery's down to 15%.

location services off, brightness 50%, push notification on(for whatsapp only), black/dark wallpaper, always cleared my "multitask" bar, WIFI + 3G on.

I hope I'm wrong but I think my battery's faulty.

wifi + 3G on is the main thing which drain up your battery power. turn it off will save your battery... coz most of the thing you said, already reduce the battery consumption except the WIFI + 3G part.

one thing, did you guys let the iphone 4 totally out of battery until you see the shut down icon?

let's your iphone drain the battery fully, then charge it to max. i see the performance is better. me, average talk time 30 mins per day, 3G + Edge for 1 hour max, sms a lot, play around 20 mins 3D games... can last me for 2 days++.

if can, when you completed charging your hp, do shut down and restart your phone. it will clean out all the background or any processor running at background. i read somewhere in the internet and tested for few times, so far so good as my battery drain around 5% for playing zombie farm and other apps for 30 mins.

is normal for ip4 for battery usage. my ip4 phone, average charge everyday due to calling, sms, surfing and gaming. nothing wrong with it.

anyway, did you terminate the background job (double click on home button)? if not, these is one of the reason why battery consume so much.
