for my case, yesterday night i have it fully 100% charged and played some videos for few minutes then leave it until this morning...now the battery is 98%...what is your usage and standby time since last full charge?

Does anyone know how I can disable the edge function totally? All my networks have been switched off I still find the E alphabet on the network bar.

thanks for the details !!... but currently i've been chargin my iphone using computer as i guess my adaptor/charger has gone haywired after i used 3 times.. it didnt charge my iphone up.... so i guess i gotta send it back to maxis this weekend... and it was barely even a week i used the phone .. =.=""

i just found out something.. while i was using EDGE (since i turned off 3g to save battery), when my phone is near my pc speakers, i can hear the beeping sound like when u make a call and go near a speaker.. i was wondering if its because a sms or mms is coming, but i waited and nothing came. i checked all apps and everything was fine. so i tried turning off my EDGE, then no more sound. i tried turning on 3g instead, also no sound.. when i switch back to EDGE then the sound came back.

so my guess is 3g uses more power than EDGE when we're on call but when its on standby, EDGE tends to send signals out continously?

correct me if im wrong, i haven't seen any cases like this before nor any statement about this before but what explains the beeping sound then? hmm hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif
