QUOTE(hussain @ Oct 15 2009, 12:24 PM) For your case i am sure some apps are running on the background as it should not lose 10% on standby how to identify what apps are running on the background? normally after using apps, i just push main menu button back to home screen.

QUOTE(hussain @ Oct 15 2009, 12:39 PM) If u are jailbroken u can use sbsettings and under processes u can kill all background apps but if not jailbroken press the power off button until the slide to unlock message pops up then keep pressing home button until back to main screen i will try that thanks. i hope it works, everytime i unlock, and start using even sending a sms, the battery % will drop 1% then slowly 2-3%, i need to charge every 2 days thats quite frustrating.

hello guys, so i tried to charge to full battery and switch off the power and switch on again before i went to bed. i've done all settings i can to save the battery life(3g off, wireless off, push off, location service off, email checking to never, etc). this morning i checked, the battery dropped 5% when i was sleeping - -" (8hrs). i've updated to 3.1.2 as well. so i guess this is abnormal for 5% drain while standby?
