QUOTE(jr` @ Nov 2 2010, 02:43 PM) by doing that, it wont permanently disable all data transfer. u also got to off your push notification in settings, else they will charge ur credit for every push sent. thanks! i have a question, can i charge the iphone anytime i like? like if it's 80%, i wanna charge to 99%.. will it spoil the battery?

QUOTE(' or 1=1 -- @ Nov 3 2010, 01:23 PM) actually, frequent mini charges are encouraged rather than full cycle 0-100% charges. the best practice is to charge ur phone before it gets to the red zone (20%) or below battery level. my third iphone since the 3g and never had spoilt battery or dramatic loss of battery charge capacity. thanks for the info! i thought it was better to charge when in red zone =_= sorry, im kinda noob in battery related stuff

my battery can last for about 6 hrs (to 20%) when i on wifi and ipod throughout that period with moderate gaming and around 30 smses. the rest is off, 3g, push notification etc. is this normal?
when im on wifi, i just do casual surfing, and 3-5 youtube vids.
oh and is it okay to use the phone while it's charging?
