You mean this?

1st. Turn off WiFi.
2nd. Turn on everything on cellular data (3G, Cellular Data, Data Roaming)
3rd. Wait until iPhone gets 3G signal, after it wait ~5mins
4th. Turn off 3G (DO NOT connect to any Wi-Fi networks before this is done), DO NOT turn off cellular data and data roaming.
5th. Turn on Wi-Fi. Connect to home Wi-Fi if available.

This only solved it temporary. The problem will comeback after I do a cycle charge ( drain till 0 and recharge).

Unless you are referring to something else? enlighten me! Desperate la... my iphone still new still a virgin(not jail broken yet)=(

BTW I always do a cycle charge... is this the cause of this problem? I haven't try a charge without draining it... should I try?

Yes, once you unscrew the phone and peel off "do not remove sticker" is then consider warranty gone. Changing battery require you to unseal the sticker.

Try iOS 5 is much more battery saving just don't get so many tweaks as I'm sure it isn't quite stable as well now.

Hi guys, wanna ask is this normal for my iphone 4, version 4.3.3 jailbroken. Seems like the battery is getting weaker but im not too sure how to test it.

Bought my iPhone on March 2011, few times charged overnight.

This is with all the push notifications and location ON. WIFI most of the time ON but not cellular data and 3G.

Try get a battery detective and check your battery status.. mine is 880mAH out of 1200mAh which means the battery is getting weak?

btw...as for battery problem

i notice a new problem

last time we had standby time = usage time

now I experienced that this usage time on the phone is actually longer than the time I had spent on the phone

eg. Fully charged....I open and use for a while (less than 1 minute)

I put it into standby mode and after a while I open again

the usage time will become like 1-2 minutes even it's sleeping

somehow smtg is running in the background
