If after certain time the batt is dead, how much cost to replace it?

depending how u use ur iphone bro...some ppl use wifi, bluetooth, songs, games more often....so the batt confirm wont last more than half a day!!

my battery drain fast .. not sure why ... it is because i just newly install the theme ? previously my battery can last for a day now half day only ....

some tips for u..make sure u not using hd theme which use animated LS and background wallpaper..besides that make sure all apps is properly close after exit it by using remove background tweaks..

ohhh.... i using hd theme ...... no wonder la ...... cause i exit all the apps and all these while it can last me a day or 2 sometimes now half day . shock me !! thanks

Yea just make sure u got everything on ur background close =)
Or u could restart ur phone once awhile..
If u're not using 3G n edge .. Keep them off too..

i am currently engaging with this problem and i google for many way to solve it but none of it can help me..

i have tried restore setting, close push mail, close notification, close everything that i can and the most classic way.
restore as new iphone..

the problem is still persists...

what's your average use like? that seems pretty normal to me.

turning off 3g will give u the most difference in terms of saving batt.

well dude i have turn off everything and get the fact that when u lock your phone.. the only things that running is standby time but hey, my usage time rolling together..

officialy claim for warranty

guys, my iphone has got a weird problem. whenever the battery reaches below 20%, the phone just dies off completely. I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RESTART THE PHONE/ HARD RESET, or whatsoever.

The only way to turn it back on is to charge the phone. And when the phone is back on, the battery would be at 3% left?

Was wondering whether i could send in for warranty claim though?

have u tried deleting the apps like energy booster or extra battery usage?

if u have warrenty left y not just send to warrenty

great news.. i have found the temporary solution for the problem.. this problem only occur for prepaid user since we dont turn on our 3G.. just a wild guess.. the i dont know what apps keep trying to connect to server to request or sent updates or feedback.. we close 3G so the apps procedure turn and turn and turn inside the iphone to get their way out it is why our iphone are active eventhough we lock it in sleep mode.. it will consume battery though..

to solve it, u need to open 3G, cellular data, roaming for 5 mins and then close back..
NOTE: it will consume $$ when u open it
i use a backup sim that active to open the 3g then close it and change back to current =D

its temporary and not permanent.. u may trigger the cause of it anytime when u playing with your iphone..


its software problem and im not sure will they replace it or not..
also if i restore my phone then it is same as replacement set..
they just replace it with restored phone, why dont i restore myself instead wasting time going back claim warranty =D


hmmm hard dude, u need prove to those warranty guy ur problem in front of them only they accept i guess..

I have the battary drain prob.. I dont know, after sometime, this is the second time i am facing this issue.

1st time happen, my phone batt drastically drop. On my normal usage in a day, i still have about 20-30 percent but it didnt after a few weeks/month. Then, i just restore via itunes to completely as new. Solve the issue.

This is the second time i face this issue since a couple of weeks ago but i cant do restoration as it will update to latest firmware. What should i do guys? Any option?

Note: i am aware of background processes, connection, bluetooth, etc and they are not the case in my prob.

ur iphone is jailbroken one or non jailbroken one???if jailbroken one try to remove all tweaks, HD themes and cydia apps...kill all the apps in the background and try to observe the battery...
