THE ANSWER IS NO..
Wasn't there a similar thread about somebody wanting to play 360 on his laptop ... I mean ... if you can afford a 360 and a laptop, shouldn't you also be able to afford at least a 20-inch LCD as well? |

QUOTE(ephunk @ Jul 4 2009, 11:09 PM) THE ANSWER IS NO.. I'm currently studying oversea ... brought along my xbox to it ... no tv here and it's quite expensive to buy one. QUOTE(liaw82 @ Jul 4 2009, 11:10 PM) i not sure my lappie is out or IN HDMI port.... however, i get to know from ppl to buy a USB RCA port to connect the three component cable into it by using a software to capture the video. I'm not so sure how and its a bit complex... tht's y not sure had other alternative |

all HDMI slots you see on lappies are OUTPUT only.
unless you go for those expensive editing class lappy that permits video input..but so far i've never seen them at large.. |

Yeah but that thing only has composite on it,so the quality won't be THE BEST THE BEST THE BEST</foofighters>.Look for a USB Video Capture card that has component, that looks much nicer. |

Dunno how far things have progressed but my old Nvidia 6600gt had s-video in and when i used it for running my gamecube, i encountered very very significant input lag. You usually can't test out how these things so don't buy until you've done more research on the interweb.Look for a USB Video Capture card that has component, that looks much nicer. |

However, they said with a slightly decent laptop spec can run it smooth, i'm not too sureLook for a USB Video Capture card that has component, that looks much nicer. StaticICE is your friend. Around 160-180AUD for a 19/20incher, not that horrendous actually. One example of a shop I searched in 2min. http://gocomp.com.au/index.php?cpath=produ...atpath=0_19_102 p/s: the TV tuner thingy itself would probably cost 80-100AUD so you really might wanna consider this instead.
