LG KC910 Renoir this phone good or not? touchscreen easy to touch?

any disadvantages?

i planning to get Xperia or this .....
1. Brand.=LG renoir
2. Budget.=around 1k
3. Specs.=8MP camera and wifi
*
renoir has better camera (8mp with xenon),
but xperia has a full keyboard and running win mobile, hence more supported applications.
depends on ur requirements.

First thing you should know that N78 is the worst among them,,,
- its 3.2mpx camera with a LED flash...
- other thing is normal in Nseries phone.. - Ngage,WLAN , GPS with A-GPS...
- S60 FP2

N79
- 5mpx phone with dual LED flash
- nice camera and video quality
- S60 FP2 , newer feature pack.. better than FP1[in interface]
- XpressON Covers[change theme automatically when changing cover]
- other thing is same like newer Nseries has[WLAN,GPS with A-GPS , Ngage..etc...
N82
- 5mpx with xenon flash
- nice camera quality
- S60 FP1
- older but wiser[cheaper,wiser than buying N78]
- other thing that Nseries have.. WLAN,GPS with A-GPS, Ngage.. etc...
the specs also almost same but :-
N79
- is using Symbian OS 9.3 with S60 3.2 UI[S60V3FP2]
- has XpressOnCovers[can change back cover, everytime you change the back cover.. the theme will changed too..]
- has nice interface[new Feature pack]
- 5MP camera , with autofocus , LED flash 2nd generation
- has FM transmitter

so when comparing N79 and N82..
- N79 better in video recording[at night[with LED flash helps] and day too]
- N79 has nicer interface[i mean the UI]
- N79 has XpressOnCovers,nice
- N79 has FM transmitter[can hear mp3 at radio, just transmit it from hp]
- N82 better in taKing photos[because of Xenon Flash too]
- N82 has 3D grapic accelerator[actually not much diff]
- N82 has better processor[actually not much diff too]
N79 is newer and N82 is older.. but the price is almost same
both - RM 990 - AP
N79 - RM 1150 - ORI
N82 - RM 1100 - ORI

the nearest competitor for N79 is N85
N85
- same OS and FP with N79
- 5MP camera , with autofocus , LED flash 2nd generation
- has FM transmitter
- using Active Matrix OLED[AMOLED] screen - the most beautiful, brilliant screen[lol]... and it saves battery a lot
- slide and stylish phone
- the rest all the specs almost same with N79[except for xpressoncovers]

N85
- RM 1280 - AP
- RM 1400 - ORI

I think you should go for LG Arena. N79 seems outdated now. Anyway, google and find the advantage of smartphone. icon_rolleyes.gif

the samsung jet s8003 should have GPS function.
u can google 'jet s8003' for more info.

smartphone basically means it has more application support than normal phones.

Hi guys, hope you can help me out here~ biggrin.gif

1. Brand: Nokia or Sony-Ericsson
2. Budget: RM2-2.5k
3. Specs: Preferably with a good camera and WiFi, while screen resolution, games, video and music are a good bonus
4. Type/Size: Preferably slider (luv them)

Phones I have in mind:

Nokia N86 8MP

I like:
amoled screen
sleek design
wide-angle camera, twin flash & lens protector
the fact that u can play N-Gage games

But:
Kinda having doubts bout the symbian os, I used to own a Nokia 3650 (nice phone btw) and it got pretty laggy

Sony-Ericsson W995

I like:
-polished-metal look
-walkman features
-camera seems similar to the C905
-flash interface (I used to own a w550i)

But:
-the interface does seem to getting a little old now
-no lens protector

Another 2 phones I have in mind if I stretch my budget:

Nokia N97

I like:
-pretty sleek looking
-touch screen
-the swiveling of the screen panel

But:
-Having doubts on whether I'd like the keypad
-not familiar wif the OS
-wonder if it's bulky

Sony Ericsson XPeria X2

I like:
-looks darn good
-touch screen
-amoled display
-has slightly nicer keypad than the N97

But:
-Also having doubts on whether I'd like the keypad
-wonder if it's bulky
-dunno when it's out

Hope you guys can help... I'm not that really in a hurry, maybe sometime next month perhaps? biggrin.gif

What is a good replacement for the Samsung D500? My wife's phone is konked out (>5 buttons cannot press) and need a replacement urgently. It has to be small and pocketable. Nowadays, preferably with Symbian OS so I can install GPS as she always lost her way. Oh, and a good camera too if possible!

Preferred brands are Nokia or Sony Ericsson (yes, I know a lot of SE dont run on Symbian)
