type : touchphones are bar phones right? i dont want flip. slide is ok, if it even exists for touch screen



p.s: how reliable is touch screen? scared that if touch screen function does not work, the whole phone is ruined.

hmm.. i think te only phone that i know that suits your budget is 5800Xm

toucscreen phone.. hmm.. more risky but if you take care of your phone.. nothing will happen

Looking for a phone as my secondary one, just in case anything happen to my current phone, or lend to my friend who need it..

Brand : only Nokia

Budget : around 100 - 400

Specs : Just a decent low-end phone will do, can support images, mp3 and video. Got camera and bluetooth(not necessary).

3500c, 2mp cam, mp3 and real loud speakers

well i'm not recommending to get 3500c..
the camera is very poor..
go for good phone.. such as 3120c ..

it has 3G and it has two cameras..
one is main camera[2mp.. and it is very good], the other is front camera[use for 3g/take front picture,it 0.3MP]
the speaker quality is good..


3120c is the right choice [or maybe other phone ]

i thought touch screen phones are an hot item? hasn't SE come out with one that can compete with 5800? how bout other brands? there must be more out there to compete woth 5800.

how bt recommending touch screen phones below rm1.5k ? any leading brands would do. but must be reliable

For your budget it will still be Nokia 5800XM.

I recommend u to consult a symbian expert you will see how amazing 5800XM can be. I bet after that u wont use SE ever again thats wat happen to many of us.

SE is out a Symbian S60 v5 phone call "Satio" but it won't be price below RM 1.5k.

Nokia 5800XM is the most valuable Symbian S60 v5 touch phone.

Beside 5800XM, the following phone is base on Symbian S60 v5 as well:
- Nokia N97 (around RM 2.4k)
- Nokia 5530 (not out yet, no 3G)
- Samsung i8910HD (RM 2.7k ++ for 8GB version! I love this phone, but the MAD price is a NO NO for me)
- SE Satio (not out yet)

Notice all the prices. @ RM1150 Ori set Nokia 5800 XM its one of the cheapest touch screen and most up to date features pack in.

What's a recommended phone in terms of STYLE within a budget of RM 1.5k? No flip phones, phone will be used for calls & texting. Phone is for a working professional woman.

brand : Nokia / SE

budget : under RM1100

specs:

- GPS
- Wifi is a must
- 5MP camera, at least 3MP
- symbian <-- the version must have wide range of software avail around
- decent quality media player (at least better than my lost SE W810i)
- can store a lot of sms
- scratch resistant, at least not easily scratched.

type : candybar only. no slide, flip or whatsoever.

thinking to get N79, but heard that its FP2 still no people managed to crack/hack them

hey...im considering getting w890i,w760i,w910i...but just want to ask couple of questions from you guys whether is these phones are allright to:

1)how long can the battery last?? like sms/short calls
2) is it easy to type message??? coz i be smsing alot with my girl
3)memory card capacity came with the phone....
4)is it worth even can consider old model?? and my budget around RM500-RM600... hmm.gif

or any other phones to suggest?? sonyericsson onlly
