Anybody here using a mains conditioner for their setup?
I was looking at the Tacima CS929, which seems quite affordable. About £39 (incl shipping). In Singapore selling for SGD100.

QUOTE(pierreye @ Jul 3 2009, 08:39 PM) If you want better solution, should get voltage regulator. Not those PC regulator but heavy duty version. I got a voltage regulator that can take 4kw of power for around RM 1k. You can see that the voltage fluctuation during morning and night as low as 230 v to 250 v during different load. With the regulator it can stabilize at 240v +- 3 v. This brings me to a question about what to look for when it comes to our AC power.I think the Tacima is to clean the power, as in removing EMI/RFI. Then another aspect u brought up is voltage stability. Anything else to look out for? BTW, what model is your heavy duty regulator and where to get such a thing? I only know of the PC type. |
