i tot you're going for 3 or 5 years investment. 

Believe me, if the price of IOI back down to 3.00, I am sure 8/10 not dare to buy even though previously said say of say with conviction. No offence. 

Why?

Because if IOI price plunges to below 3.00 again, then there are sure some bad news or problematic economy situation or low CPO price, by then view is different.

3.00 would be seen cheap at current better economy situation, but 3.00 is not seen as cheap if economy situation is not good time.

Thing is simple, if economy situation is ok, IOI won't be 3.00, if economy situation worsen, then only it can reach 3.00
You cannot have economy situation is ok or CPO price is ok and company financially is ok, but price drops to cheap cheap level. <--- which is what people wish for, and not so realistic.

Want to buy cheap stock? Then must withstand the risk or downwards pressure of the market place due to fundamental issue deteoriating in the first place. There is no free lunch.

Having said that, almost all especially big cap plantation stocks are not cheap at the moment based on current their current financial result. That's why most investment houses generally won't put a buy call on them. But it doesn't mean they must go down a lot either, as market is no direction to predict which way to go at the moment while there are too much cash sitting on the sideline.
