main weakness is the graphic card...

i won't say that it's weak... but it's use of DDR2 as frame buffer (note: it's different frm the DDR2 used as system RAM) drags the potential performance of the GPU... a 1 yr old BenQ S42 with GeForce 9600M GT and GDDR3 (note again: 9600M GT and GT 130M ve the same spec, but the latter is clocked faster) has roughly the same performance...

an alternative is BenQ S57, if u dun mind the design..

Dell SXPS 16's HD3670 uses GDDR3...

3D Mark 06 wise, both SXPS 16 and 5935 ve abt the same score...

seriously for 5935, if Acer is willing to use GDDR3 instead, it would ve pwned many laptops in the market...

as for the "extra" frame buffer problem, the extra actually comes from ur system RAM... yes, the card itself ve 512MB, but if it's insufficient, it would borrow some from the system and use as frame buffer...

but seriously, dun worry abt that, 512MB is sufficient by today's standard...

seriusly, dun care too much abt TurboCache and Hyper Memory, seldom do u really need that...

1GB is definetely overkill by today's standard unless u re using an uber card (think GeForce GTX 280M...)
