The center speaker should face the height of the listener (either standing, sitting or sleeping)
I don't think your cabinet could withstand the vibration of the subwoofer, and nvr heard of somebody doing that.
Front left right speaker can be mounted / custom into the cabinets provided the size itself suits and you don't mind the affected sound quality. The speakers should be front ported too
