Welcom to HEDGIE's familyMy girl's like yours too, will spike up when my fingers are near her.. then I have to force my fingers through the little forest of spikes to reach her belly and pick her up. Thanks for the warm welcome ^^

Exploration time when she first came home last week

So clean last week.. this week already... haha

Initial sleeping spot

Toy to tunnel into

Later on, she push her metal plate away from the sleeping spot, and sometimes grab a toilet roll to sleep inside

*Rolls in sleep*
How long usually do you all take to be friendly with your hedgies? As in she/he doesn't spike when you try to carry her up from her cage?
