my penny is being such a sweetheart nowadays! she's stopped hissing at me, so i've felt more compelled to bond with her now. and she doesnt hiss when i pet her. i think it was because i would let her smell my hand then i would feed her
anyways, just dropping by!

hello! i havent been here in a while. penny's still okay on this side. normal? hissing as usual, but i've gotten used to it. i wonder if she'll ever stop hissing at me? oh well. i put shredded paper into her cage recently as bedding and noticed she stopped scratching !!!

hey everyone, i have had a hedgehog since last year and i posted on the v5 forum. recently i've been having some problems with my hedgehog penny...firstly she's really thin and way smaller than before, even though she finishes her food every night, and secondly, she's walked lopsidedly and dragging her head on the floor. i dont know whats wrong...

please help!!!

i've had my hedgehog since last february and when i got her she was 2 years old. i take her out on the balcony every night (when its not raining) because i close all my windows at night and i thought she might be too stuffy, and yesterday i took her out as usual and then i realised that one of her eyes was closed!!! i wish i could explain it in more detail, but i dont know what to say. it looks like an infection, one of her eyes was completely closed (a friend said her eyeball might have fallen out but i dont think its possible)...and its just skin there!!! the only thing that could have poked her eye in the cage was the water bottle...but...i dont know. im taking her to the vet tomorrow but im not sure if the vet will be any help. can anybody tell me more??? im really scared that she wont be able to see...

i live in kota kinabalu, and i'm just taking her to a normal vet...i dont know what else to do.
