my Kenshin dont eat much lately...is there any reason to this? he's active during playtime, he doesn't loose weight or look thin...is he stress or something?he seems normal now but i'm worried if this goes on and will effect his health...
i saw pictures i8n this thread tht ppl gave canned cat food to their hedgie...is that ok? if its ok i would like to try giving it to kenshin, maybe that way he'll gain more appetite. any brand/ flavor recommendations? |

QUOTE(eric138 @ Oct 25 2009, 10:40 PM) I don think the condition is very bad yet, jus monitor for few days more. i see, thanks for the advise...just in case the condition continues, what should i do? have anybody experienced their pokimon's appetite lost? You can use the LC-Vit, it helps to increase their appetite and boost up their immune system..I uses it on all my pets. |

so...if a hedgie is around 10 months old and considered normal size what RC should i give him? if oversize pulak which variant got less protein? my Kenshin looks like he's put on a little too much weight after he overcome his appetite lost last month, now I'm worried that he's fat... i mean his gaining weight drastically, felt heavy when i put him on my palm, i have big palm (compared to most woman) and he's full on my palm...

QUOTE(El Sol @ Nov 3 2009, 06:30 PM) QUOTE(eric138 @ Nov 3 2009, 06:51 PM) Normal size jus feed RC32 and mix with one hedgie diet. Add in bit fibre source into your hedgehog diet is kinda good too.. You can use cornflakes/cereal... i see i see....thanks alot everyone~! wheel hmm...i heard they like to poo n pee on the wheel so everyday have to cuci...hmm that part i seem reluctant... Let kenshin roam more frequently, or run on the wheel~ Adult u can use RC32.. 35% of protein.. but let the hedgie maintain certain degree of exercise level.. QUOTE(mamba @ Nov 3 2009, 09:21 PM) hmm i nv heard ppl put hedgie outdoor...i guess its because hedgies are sensitive to wheather, sound and surrounding light and they are easily get stressed over a small changes on their surrounding. So i think it is not advisable...its recommended you put indoor where the light source, temperature and level of noise is much more stable, ur hedgie will sure be happy... |

I adopt a baby cinnamon hedgie from a forumer who adopt Kenshin (my former hedgie) some time ago. the baby is an offspring of kenshin, i name him shikamaru. he is very friendly and active, and love to eat crickets. i recently found out some of his quills drop, when i clean his place...izzit normal for babies to have their quills drop?

I gave shikamaru a tiny piece if chicken liver last nite, coz he was deep in sleep and suddenly perked up as if he is excited over the smell of the chicken liver i was washing in the sink.
is it ok to give him chicken liver? if its ok i might give him again next week, and maybe put it in his diet like once a week or somthing...he likes crickets, but i find a little hard to keep crickets with me coz i have trouble handling in with my hand...(i tried but...cannot lar...) so maybe its ok if i replace it with chicken liver instead? |

yeah...inbreeding generally means breeding among siblings/same bloodline (like mother with son or dad with daughter)...it is considered unethical (dunno this is the right word or not) to all living beings as it weakens immune systems and genes....the offsprings is prone to disease also...i just hope you simply mistype the question or something....
last night i buka puasa lamb chop...then Shikamaru got excited over the smell of the lamb chop i make, i give him 1 small cube of the meat (without the marination) and he seems to love it XD. He seems to get back in shape now under my diet program (LOL) so i think a small treat is okay XD |
