I have no idea what is wrong as well...
i just took her to see Dr Jenny on the 27th Last month.
n yesterday when i got home at 10...she already dead...
died in her sleep
sleeping peacefully...
i'm so sad...

hello, im new here. my name is aqilah, my hedgie's name is king sonic maximus, bt i just call him max. i have a huge problem! so i need help! im currently studying in johor, when i went back to kl for the weekend i left max to a friend to feed la, arnd 4 to 5 days jgak la. i thought it would be ok, because i was going bck by flight so couldnt bring him. then when i went back, 1st thing i did was change his bedding n give him a bath. n i noticed he was really cranky i thought it was because i left him n he forgot abt my scent or somthing, when i gave him a bath he didnt stop being a ball. so i just wrapped him up n dried him n after that changed his bedding.bt then i realised his bedding was full of his quills, never have i seen that much. so when i check him again, he was still a ball n on the towel his quills alot gugur n all. n alot of bold patches. so i was really3 terkejut n concerned. n it broke my heart that i left him in the 1st place.

i didnt knw why his quills fell that many, so i started looking it up online, thats hw i found this forum. at 1st i thought max was just in his quilling stage, bt then i got his last year, n my boyfriend suprised me for my birthday, so i didnt get any info watsoever on his age n how to take care of him n all. bt i slowly learnt la. i was kinda mad at him for throwing me with this big responsibility, dnt get me wrong i always wanted a hedgehog bt knew nothing of it, n i didnt knw crap on hw to take care of it, so i just did the basics la.. anyways... so most probably max is nt quilling, so then i took a torch light n see if got mites, n it was to my suprise, his skin was crawling with em! i never knew what mites look like till nw, n my bulu romer all naik n all. so nw, after reading alot of the post tonight, knw i knw abt what bedding to use n how to take care of it. bt my question is, does anyone knw any good vets in jb? because travelling bck to kl wouldnt help max at all cause he hates travelling, or should i? and im so scared because he has lost alooot of quills n i feel so bad i never realised his mites before. what else should i concern on? would his quills grow back? i think max is arnd one year plus. i feel so helpless, im going out to buy frontliner, novacote plus and oatmeal shampoo tmrw. bt id rather see a vet cause im so scared if his mites problem is too bad n is seeking imidiate action? my poor max is suffering n i feel so bad i didnt realise this sooner. HELP!!
