if u trim all the way to the toes, like how u trim ur own nails then sure bleed wan

Just bought a litter box for my JimJim ytd...wanted to toilet train him..if not he poo everywhere inside his cage...even inside his food bowl sometimes...is it just pick his poo poo and put inside the litter box for some period until he can manage to pee & poo inside the litter box one day only means success??

For those who managed to potty trained their hedgie, what type of substrate do u used for the litter box?
i had once trained my hedgie to use litter box...Since i'm noob, that time i used normal cat litter as substrate...

However, after about 2 weeks i had to stop use the litter box due to:
1) normall cat litter (tiny one like artificial sand) no good for hedgie especially male since it will get stuck in the p*nis  .
2) My hedgie love to use the litter box but after peeing/poop, he will dig the subtrate (like cat) to cover his 'leftover'. So end-up the litter substrate being splash all around outside the litter box  ..it so messy...

Appreciate any advise

Hey big prob here... i know that i'm supposed to encourage my hedgie everytime it poops at the litter area, and pick the poop and put it at the same spot everytime right? But is there any way to DIScourage her to NOT poop on my hand everytime i play with it.. =,= Haha 3 times di!! Everytime i'm playing with her.. next thing i know there's poop in my hand...

Erm i just bought the shampoo and impossible 1day can caused dry skin.
Im using dog shampoo with natural ph. B4 i buy i ask the seller and he said u can try this for hedgehog.
If getting worst i think i gonna return back d hedgie to d owner.
Bcauz i just bought d hedgie .

yup, its normally like tat for hedgie tat never take transport b4... mine 1st time when i take it bec to hometown with ktm, then bus n then car...

For whole day she roll at ther n didn't move. But now she can sleep ady in the way bec...

1 more thing, cicici sound is mean get out stranger, i in moood nw, so leave me alone o i cucuk ur butt!!!

So u wait her tenang first, jus leave it ther for whole day, then tomolo start to bond with her. first time hand up her, talk n hold her gently for 5min, then put her bec... then after half hour, find her again.

Hey guys, was wondering if there's any other substitute bedding for my hedgehog instead of pine wood shedding, i've used up all of mine and find it quite dusty especially if it flies into my eyes, it gets quite irritating.

So are there any places nearby petaling jaya where I could get a better bedding for my hedgehog? I got mine from the curve, which is RM7 per packet which lasts for 3 full cleans.
