Yeap I counted it.. I tried kiwi, cooked egg, cooked carrot and some vegetables.. None work..

It's just 2 months old.. Is it okay to feed those stuff? Scare later no interest on kibbles at all.. I'll be doomed if that happen.. xD

They damn bad wei.. the hoglets looks like newborn, no fur pink skin and they put for display there. And they dun put the mom together also sad.gif

I was eating at some udon shop and the vet who knows me ask me to drop by his clinic. He gave me a biggg hamster cage . Wanted to use it to breed hamsters but my dad say let hibari use it so she can exercise more.

Well she does love it now biggrin.gif

hi guys, jus wanna ask is it ok to use wood chips(pine shaves) as bedding?

Added on August 1, 2011, 9:59 pmand and can we use dog food as our hedgehog food?
*
No and no.

Wood chips could could cause mites to be on your hedgehog.

And because dog food is really big for hedgehog so better use cat food. And i heard that the nutrition content is different

Mine won't even come out of his igloo when I show him the mealworm spoon.
I need to take the igloo out, he starts huffing & headbutting my hand (which hurts like crazy), then I put the mealworm spoon with the mealworm on it, then he headbutt again before he lunges for the mealworm.

So...yeah, I've got a little drama boy.  rclxub.gif
Hmm, blood around the quills? Never seen it on Huffster before & he's gone through 2 quilling process already.

Look closely at the skin surrounding the quill again. Does it normal?
I would suggest that you give him a warm bath (with a few drops of oil), just to ease his discomfort during quilling & at the same time, prevent any sort of infection that can happen.
*
Same lo! She will huff and heatbutt me. Recently , she been head butting me more often. She takes a really longer time to smell my hand , puffs up , smell and slightly chills a little. Then i can pick her up from underneath. Maybe my bro disturbed her D:... or she hated the bath i gave her :C But sometime she will come running when i give her superworm coz thats her favourite hehe.

Anyone own a hedgehog and travel back and forth to singapore?

I'll be moving to singapore for work alone, and I'm thinking to get a hedgehog as a companion. But, I would be coming back occasionally for holiday and taking along the hedgehog over the custom would become smuggling unless it goes through quarantine.

So how do you deal with it?
