Hi, I'm new around here =)
I'm looking for Asus only laptop, which is quite a hard task over here in Kuching Sarawak. So I might consider asking my friend in KL to ship me one. But the problem is, what model? Asus laptop always have awsome specs which I really need them for multimedia and gaming purpose. And of course I need a nice lookign laptop also.

I'm surveyed on some model like M50Vn (which available here in Kuching, RM3999 with Blu-Ray, not sure still available or not). But I'm looking on the net and found a new model of G1 - the G1Sn, which the GPU is quite acceptable... (consider I just sacrifice abit in the GPU of it since it IS a G1 model...)

Ah, how mush G1Sn (with and without Blu-Ray, 9500GS) priced?

I don't think I will looks into other model if G1Sn priced around RM4K... =)
(I googled around and it says less than 4K??)

u get G1 later the GPU ka-boom u cry.gif also no use...

i suggest N51Vn if that's avaliable...

HD4670 and GT 240M are abt the same...

GT 240M has CUDA support (and thus PhysX) and good drivers, while HD4670 has full DX10.1 support and better architecture...

need some help here...

was helping my friend to fix his laptop last night, a Asus X59SL (based on F5SL)...

his Pentium Dual Core T2390 (65nm Merom, 1.83GHz, 1MB L2 cache, 533MHz FSB) was running at 86C, and after i opened up and tried to clear as much dust as possible, the temp dropped to 59C (idle) - 72C (load)

is that the best that a 65nm PDC can go??? or is that the lowest that it can go in X59SL/F5SL??? i remember my old laptop with T7100 can go as low as 4xC on idle...
