There is an updated ExpressGate build 1.2.13.14 available in Asus website, i was wondering if anyone have it installed and updated and whether the native screen resolution issue has been solved in this latest build?

The ExpressGate preinstalled in u80v can't display correctly (just like other model i suppose) at native resolution of 1366x768pix, screen display is being stretched horizontally....

so any idea gentlemen? tongue.gif

have yet to update, but it's also stretched on my N81Vp as well...

was checking for new drivers at Asus Global page...

found that N81Vp has got driver for Intel Centrino 1000 WiFi Adapter... hmm.gif

seems like the new wireless will be used in Centrino 2 as well...

but guess it's going to be confusing in the future...

Sager when claim warranty may be a headache...

that SG company can still help u fix small problems, but for big ones, u still need to send it back to US...

G51 or Alienware will be a better choice unless u re willing to take the trouble...

The Dell SXPS 16 retails for 50 bucks cheaper with a better GPU. So, I would consider that instead if I were you. Otherwise, looking at Sagers ain't a bad choice either.

that's y i picked N81Vp instead... laugh.gif

You read wrong dude laugh.gif..the one that astria mention is Asus N81Vp not Asus N81Vg...N81Vp is T9600 with HD4650 while N81Vg is T9600 with GT120M nod.gif...

Yup, comparing Asus N81Vg/N81Vp and Dell SXPS 16, SXPS 16 win in overall spec nod.gif...but for me, still like astria i'll go for N81Vp nod.gif...SXPS 16 is just way to big for me nod.gif...we all have our preferences nod.gif
*
mine is the earlier version with T9550... laugh.gif
