This is a pro model, it supposed its ball head can support up to approximately ~1kg , its leg can be opened as wide as possible to maintain stability.

If you are not convinced, i suggest you to drop by and test out urself....

No problem for compact, last week got 1 fella bought for his LX3 also....this tripod is only good for prosumer camera like LX3 and entry level DSLR.
Supports up to 1kg on its ballhead....this 1 not heavy la....few hundred grams only...very professional looking....

For that setup of gear, DIGIeye Pro 288 or Pro 488 would be appropriate. Pro 288 is ballhead, Pro 488 is platform head.
But Pro 288 already out of stock by distributor for over 2 months. I have ready stocks for Pro 488.
