got 1st batch.
btw what stuff have to bring aside from told in letter?
got like koperasi or not there?
what if hungry n want to eat snacks
*
The letter told us NOT to bring baldi even last year. Then one of my cousins didn't bring baldi so that she cannot wash her cloth. So i think we should bring baldi because it doesn't provide baldi for us

just buy it at the kiosk in the camp (fucuk expensive compared to outside, eg, cola giant sell 1.30, the kiosk sell at 1.80 mad.gif )
actually u can get many things that you need inside the kiosk
*
Ya. i think buy it kiosk better. So that we don't have to bring so many things

Is there a list to see who kena which camp?

I am chosen to go to gua musang where none of the people i know go to there. My parents want me to change to kemaman or pasir mas where there are many of the people that i know go to there. I like gua musang very much because of my seniors have told me about it. I really don't want to change camp so i want to see the list who's going to there so that i can let my parents know

What I want to know is when will we come back during CNY?

My cousin said that they were actually only allowed to go back on the FIRST DAY of CNY. But then they asked permission from the commander and the commerander allowed them to go back earlier 1 day

My friend said they went back to home 2 days before CNY Without asking permission from commander.

Anyway, my cousin batch was 2010 and my friend was 2009

So the date we go back is not fixed 1? How about you seniors?

QUOTE(ivan92 @ Jan 1 2011, 02:28 PM)
the date usually fixed one
usually they will announce the date at least 2 weeks before CNY
so dont worry abt it
i go back on the CNY eve
and 3rd day of CNY i go back to camp
so total is 4 days holiday
depends on the date set by JLKN lah
if you want to go back early/get extra holiday, please ask your parents/guardians to write in to JLKN ASAP once the holiday is confirmed, my friend get 8 days holiday btw whistling.gif

btw, the red line, for my time, the holiday was started from CNY eve, so the next day is CNY
ur parents need to write in lo in order to let u get out from camp for CNY
but the letter must be approved my commander
if they dont allow u to go back on CNY, u can ask thestar, tv3 put them into headline laugh.gif

i'm first group of 2010 batch btw smile.gif
*
so if i want to go back earlier than they allow, my parents have to come and fetch me alone? Can i take the bus? Since my parents don't know how to go to my camp and they are not familiar with the location there

QUOTE(ivan92 @ Jan 1 2011, 10:16 PM)
not sure about go back earlier
u better ask the trainer/ask ur parents write in to request for it

u can take bus/train/flight (sabah/sarawak <-> peninsular malaysia)  to go back to ur hometown
then the camp will arrange transports and bus/train ticket for you(if you need it)
or your parents can go to camp and pick you up ( after a few times go to campsite visit u, they will know the place)
but many procedures and forms need to done and fill up before you can go out
later the trainers will explain it briefly with u one, so dont worry abt it
last time i didnt hand in the borang when i went back to camp lapor diri, the next day my name was announced via loudspeakers and asked me to meet the management level
it was very embarrassing  doh.gif
they thought i was kidnapped by people or what and plan to call the police if they cant find me rclxms.gif
*
So troublesome to go back earlier rclxub.gif I think I follow bus better because my parents don't really know the place. hehe.. laugh.gif

I'm a tarp. laugh.gif
But ya, if not for the fact I don't look good bald (hairstylists also recommend that I don't go for short hair), I'd shave my head clean. Pretty damn cooling.
*
Yea. I don't think bald hair suits me but I like the fact that my head feels cooling.

Anyway, as long as the things they provide in there can be washed in dobby for free (Ex : Towel) ?

Yes, they'll brief you on the things that can be picked up by the "dobi guys" for washing. smile.gif Weeeeell... If you're sneaky enough.. Throw in a shirt or two and they'll still do it. laugh.gif I think someone from my block did that, and it came back nice and clean. Haha.
*
How long does it take for them to wash? Because i plan to wear the shirts they give most of the time. They will give 2 helai baju t sukan. So when i wear the first t sukan, i wash another 1.

Do you all use marker pen to write your name on your shirts etc... in case they are messed up after washing?
