that you will get fresh after you wake up..you might be lack in having a quality sleep.

Try eat "Ling Chi pill" not too expensive good for health. I sleep well after trying it but beware of "heatiness" and over sleep.

Or try swim 3 times a week very helpful also.

Mia, the average person only requires 8 hours of sleep, if you over or under sleep you'll feel tired in the day.

Like pizzaboy said, you also probably need more exercise, 4 times a week is pretty decent.

And about diet, what we mean is that you need to eat healthy food, not 'diet' and starve yourself.

"Your diet sucks" means:

uhm, i'm usually much more tired during that time of the month so i usually buy sangobion iron pills from guardian. you can buy it straight from the shelf, don't have to buy the whole box, just buy a packet of 4 pills for about rm2. eat once per day can d.

generally if i feel sluggish during the day, i just need a nice pick-me up, like a nice cup of coffee tongue.gif

Guys and girls... To those who always feel tired and lethargic...or always feel not enough sleep even sleep so much... Im one of you guys too... Its been very long time i have this problems too since im very young, mom keep scolding me im lazy, but the fact im not. I dunno whether will this helps, but it seems its a very common case and where i consult so many doctors and clinics, they jst tell me that Im high metabolic rate which burns calories faster than usual. Not till one day, i consult a chinese doctor, he told me was actually probably having this case : "The blood is thick". When blood is thick, it travels slower efficiency to carry sufficient minerals and nutrients all over the body. The reason could lead to this is the salt level in blood is high, which causes the blood go thicker than normal. The chinese doctor recommend me to drink more glucolin, which is healthy sugar rather than coca cola. I guess it makes sense, which gives more energy and reduce the intensity of the salt level in blood. Watch the food intake, reduce salt intake especially MCD french fries is filled with alot of salt on it, plz correct me if im wrong, Thanks =)

Im going to take a blood test very soon and see how it result. Maybe to those who always feels fatigue are advisable to have constant medical check up to monitor whats going inside our body.

Case:

1) Morning wake up after 8 hours sleep still tired
2) Everyday n always 2pm till 5 pm feel very tired and feels wanna go to bed
3) When surrounding temperature are hot, feels sleepy and yawns alot for no reason
4) Driving under hot sun feels sleepy and feels eye dry

i am having the same situation as you.

i went to see doctor.. doctor advise me not to eat too much meat during lunch hour..

must eat breakfast, light lunch and slightly full dinner den u will not be so tired. consume multivitamins, vitamin C and drink alot of water.

and another thing you may try to get a comfort pillow... it's really helps.

i just speak from my experience. smile.gif

*
when i look at your case, i just wanna ask you whether you have drinks enough water?? i m not sure.. just queries because of the case that you state there.. if you don't drinks enough.. y don't you try to take more water & feel the different?? 8 glass a day or about more or less 2 liter of water a day... the cause is probably your body dihidrated make u feel tired & sleepy.. and yes, if your body not consume enough water, this can lead to kidney disfunction...

Hi all! I would like to share my experience, normally i will get the most restful sleep if I don't dream. However, since dreaming is uncontrollable, I do dream about 80% of the time, which means my sleep is not very restful. Occasionally I do get a 100% dreamless sleep, especially after a long camping trip or outing when the body is very tired, this type of sleep is very refreshing when i wake up. I also find that I sleep better when I exercise, therefore I am now following an exercise routine just to feel better. Another remedy to defeat insomnia is not to consume caffeine before sleeping and to have a warm drink prior to sleep. smile.gif

Well i also face these problem last time....Basically take Protein, Calcium magnesium and Bcomplex right before you go to bed. Protein is needed to rebuild and repair cell, Calcium is a natural muscle relaxant also and not only for bones. Magnesium is needed for body to absorb calcium efficiently. B complex is good for stress coz it has a compound to relief stress.....That is the basic...If u want to know more detail just drop me a PM.

VIT C is high in antioxident...But wont give that much energy...The one that give's energy is B complex because it burns up carbo, fat or toxins and turn it into energy. Both Vit C and Vit B is best take together....We need Vit C because Vit C got cooling effect to calm down the Hot effect of B Complex. And B complex is needed to transport Vit C around.

I drink lots of water and it seems i always feel thirsty because im a person who gives lots speech to friends and customers and relatives, so when i speak alot whole day long i always feel thirsty, therefore to me i drink lots of water. Since standard 1 i brought 1.5 litre bottle of water everyday, carry it everyday. so basically if drink,i could drink up more than 3-5 litre per day coz im a heavy athlete too,coz i swim, basketball and work out alot,so im consume lot water all the time.

Better add protein to that...Coz cell needs protein to repair or generate....Protein is the main building block for Cells. If the problem still persist after 2 weeks. Then you might need to go for a blood test to find out what happen. If blood test result ok, then maybe is the way you sleep that is affecting your rest.

In order to have a good sleep, follow these:
1. Do not exercise half an hour b4 sleep
2. Make sure your bedroom is for sleeping only. Don't do other things like watch TV, read books, etc.
3. Set a nice environment for sleeping, probably light up some aromatheraphy candles
4. Drink warm milk

Let say ur morning class is at 8 a.m try to wake up around 6-6.30 a.m then you should be able to get rid of ur sleepy head. Basically, sleep early, wake up early.

i would say nutrilite
its one of the top 5 in this world and they are the 1st brand

why nutrility
-organic and natural
-1million insurance incase anything goes wrong(no one ever did claim it before in this world^^)
-its a bit expensive and you may find the nutrient lower then what u can find normal store but its natural not chemical made so it will be easier for your body to absorb
- best part is it speaks for itself^^

u may think the price is a bit more expensive then other brand but its good stuff
and do remember u can try your luck for the 1 million USD jackpot if u ever try haha

Do you have this SLEEP APNEA in the first place.

http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1420456

Or u may even read the insurance company taking this matter lightly

Sleep Apnea patient can cause death to others when u driving in the afternoon or night time.
Your body will shut the whole system down and you could be in wonderland the next day .
Most importantly is that these patient are aware of it and won't cause death to others or permanent disability if they drive.

I hope more of you support me so that i can go up and create awareness of it to the public and private health.

Sleep too much and you'll get lazy.

Reduce sleep time to 6 hours. Works for me.

Dear Friend,

The 4 Pillars of Optimal Health

1. Exercise
2. Diet
3. Daily Rest
4. Positive Mental Attitude

Even if you take supplement and 8 hours sleep, do you Exercise...it is very Important..

Taking supplement only without balanced doesnt gave you Optimal Health.

Good luck....

Firstly you need to have proper sleep habits https://sleepfoundation.org/sleep-topics/sleep-hygiene

Secondly, you need to make sure you do not have sleep apnea. To diagnose or rule out sleep apnea , you need to do sleep study
There are two types of sleep studies:
1) Full attended sleep study - you go to hospital at night and sleep overnight and next morning on waking up can go home/work straight away. Cost < 100 in government hospital but in private can be anywhere from 1000 - 3000.
2) Partial sleep study - done at your home. Information obtained is not complete but good enough to know if you have sleep apnea or not but deficient in a number of aspects depending on the type of partial study done. Costs 250-350. Mostly done by private set-ups ( hospitals or companies dealing with CPAPs). They hardly do partial sleep study in government hospitals.

There are a number of ways of treating sleep apnea :
1) Loose weight especially if your BMI>30
2) Sleep on your side if the apneas occur mostly on your back - for this you will need the doctor to explain the sleep report in a bit more detail ie spending 5 minutes rather than 5 seconds (by just telling you your AHI)
3) CPAP which is currently the best option as far as medical science is concerned
4) Surgery if your surgeon knows how to locate the exact site of blockage when you sleep by doing a sleep endoscopy and also is an experienced surgeon in sleep surgery
5) MAD (mandibular advancement devices) or TAD (tongue advancement devices) - not so popular, not so comfortable and effective

Please be aware that by not treating your sleep apnea, you are at a health risk - it is just like having diabetes and not treating it. Yo must never stop unless you have loss a lot of weight and another sleep study shows that your sleep apnea has resolved due to your tremendous weight loss.

Hi TS,

I also face this issue. Even if I sleep 7-10 hours i still feel sleepy.
I normally try to get more sleep during weekends.
I exercise 2/3 times a week and I find swimming/gym helps a little for me.
I'm not overweight but have a little high fat level thus i'm trying to adjust my diet. icon_rolleyes.gif
