Bro. Just pay a visit to JPJ near your place. There have a listing of all the popular number and the minimum price if you are bidding. Now is open for bidding for WWH and close on 27/12/2011. On average, 10 or 11 calendar days will jump one alphabet(the third one of coz).
FYI now the running sequence as of last Friday 5.30 pm was WWE1xxx. On a normal day it will move between 1000 to 1500 numbers. So it will take 6-7 working days to jump 1 alphabet. Once the tender result is out and if you wn the bid, you will have to register at Wangsa Maju JPJ and according to the officer that i spoke to , that is the only branch to register, but i don't know how true is that.
Hope that helps. biggrin.gif

Not all number reserve price is the same. You can go to JPJ and see the minimum price for the popular number. To bid a number you need to fill up a form and write the price you want to bif for. If more than one bidder for the same number, the highest will win it.Today is closing for WWH already and tomorrow will start WWJ immediately i think. By my calculation , WWW will open for bidding sometime near the end of April or beginning of May. biggrin.gif

That is just mu estimate but once it is open for tender, still take about 3-4 weeks before you can start seeing WWW plate on the road cause there is a gap of 3 alphabets between the running number and tender number.
For example todays running number is WWE17xx as of afternoon but the tender for WWH is already closing.

If your number is not one of those popular numbers, then there is no need to tender for it i think cause you probably can buy it when the running sequence has reached the range of your desired number. Buy over the counter is only 210 if i am not wrong. You kow kow chan go tender for 3 numbers and then got all of it but ended up paying for only one, maybe there will blacklist you. brows.gif

Bro. Jim,
If i do not buy my own number , when the new car come out the number will be allocated by JPJ and even the car dealer cannot choose a better number within the 1000 to 2000 numbers register during the registration date is it?
Coz that day i asked SA if there is any dedcution if i buy my own number , he said no cause car dealer no need to pay for new car number and take the running number allocated to them by JPJ.

will they blacklist? hahaha

well quite difficult to buy it in the running sequence

my 1st choice is in the "interesting number"
2nd choice is in the "popular number"
3rd choice is 305 or 1212

1212 is definitely one of the popular number that you need to tender if you want to have it.
As for 305, probably not, unless someone out there also has an affection for it due to certain reason, which might be tendering for it.
I am also looking for the same number as my current ride for WWW and it is not a popular number but i will still tender for it to make sure I have a higher chance of getting it. icon_rolleyes.gif

Can you show the link for popular number on JPJ website?

I probably will put the minimum amount cause my number is just very very ordinary. Not even a double digit in it.
Not that i have hit lottery prize with it but somehow i just love to keep this number for my future ride.
