Hi need you advise.
I am currently playing ps2.I am only a socer n racing games player...now thinking of upgrading to either PS3 or Wii,
can give me your views?I so headache....

depends on what sort of gamer u are

"hardcore" = ps3
"casual" = wii

u also need a good hd tv to truely experience ps3 graphics

i consider myself hardcore but i got a wii coz its different

hmm...for soccer and racing PS3 is the best...
if u wanna having fun with your family or frens, i think u can go for Wii, it is fun when play Wii together. but u r playing alone with Wii, the scenario will looks sad...haha

what i said is my opinion lar, u still can consider it urself~good luck man!

PS3 is the way to go as graphics and AI are equally important for those games and PS3 could perform better in those department hands down

Depends u wanna shake ur body in front of the TV alone or whacking games like MGS, Killzone in ur private time. Don't forget the real driving simulator is coming soon but meanwhile u can try the prologue version. ^^

one thing u should really consider b4 buying wii/ps3 (regardless of power) is the game list.

which console has the games that you really want to play on.

its no point buying a console to play 2 games.

i do agree tho that for soccer n racing u prolly should get a ps3

Get PS3 if u play soccer and racing most.... GT5 full version will release the end of this year.... so what soccer game u play most??

PS3, not even a second thought for Wii.

WII is fun but dont expect graphics as equal to xbox360 and ps3,but in terms of innovation id say WII ftw

i'm PS3 and Wii user, here's my opinion :

PS3
-mostly single player games
-Free Playstation Network for online multiplayer
-hardcore/mature games
-shooter, racing, fighting games
-all in 1 multimedia console
-high end graphics

Wii
-single player & multiplayer games
-Free Nintendo online multiplayer but limited games
-casual/family games
-sports, puzzle, platform games
-motion controls all the way
-last gen graphics

conclusion : if u r getting this console to enjoy with frens/family, go for Wii. else go for PS3, to satisfy ur own hardcore gaming hobby.

Seriously most of the people will ask the question Xbox 360 or PS3. Wii aims at a totally different market.

And most of traditional gamers won't take Wii if they must make a choice.

I m playing winning eleven most of the times.My TV is LCD 22"HD Ready,alto there is HDMI input...ready headache now....But i would say 90% of time i playing soccer lo....
