Hey,

I am new to Blackberry actually and I would like to learn more about the device. Basically, if the mobile does not have the services, it can still function like a normal cellphone with the SIM card, right?

Which provider would you recommend - Celcom or Maxis? I use the latter provider and I am considering to get a Blackberry. Is it possible to also get the device from a third party and are Blackberries like iPhones - for example, it depends on the countries the machine is bought from to be unlocked?

Is it possible to get a Blackberry under installment ( just asking because there are times people offer installments for devices ) and how much can a user do with the Blackberry services besides the usual email checking and whatnots?

Thanks for the help guys! Appreciated.

im currently using bb curve 8900, its a good device for email and texting and also for entertainment. Im using t mobile us set. I use digi now. It's better gor you to get from digi becase they got the data plan for rm 63 per month, If you get the set with the data plan, you can use your bb to the fullest.

Approximately how much data usage per month - to check emails, go online and the usual whatnots?

Lol!

So, basically, the 5MB plan is good enough if not a heavy usage? I am thinking about the plan because the device is way cheaper with the plan ... Mmm. Still thinking.
