Forgot to add Maxxis MA3D tyres are also recommended. I would put their performance as between Duro HF918 and the Michelin Pilot Street.

Just got mine replaced yesterday, went for Duro HF918. 70/90-17 cost me RM75, while 80/90-17 cost me RM85.

I used Duro on my FXR a long time ago and they were bad. They were hard and didn't grip well on wet road. They would wobble when you hit the paint on the road. But the current Duro tyres offer good performance, I've use it on my LC now.

Another option is the slightly pricier Michelin Pilot Street. I used it on my Ninja 250, and personally I feel their performance is really good.

Or you could go for premium tyres such as Corsa.

From feedbacks i've heard, roughly similar.

Corsa S123 has the advantage in the wet.

I've used both for the rear of my bike (150/70)

Prefer the Corsa S123 in terms of grip and wet weather.

Metzeler Sportect Street i didnt get to use til finish

i'm using corsa sport rain 70 front, 80 rear. (RM150 for both)
just test on last Sunday, Cameroon.
surprisingly good grip and cornering with confident.
and unexpectedly good grip in heavy rain.
really recommended.

P/S : pls take good care of tyre pressure for this tyre. if not, will damage quickly.

I see... just changed mine to Michelin Pilot Street last week. For some reason, I feel a bit "wooble" / slant more when cornering. A bit scary. Not sure if it is the new tyre or the new rim (RCB SP522)

Best stock availability for these is in KL. Sentul, specifically NKS Sport Bikers or NKS Trading. Can call them first to check price. Got the City Grips for my NMAX from them.

Thanks, will give them a call when I'm changing my PCX tyres. thumbup.gif , Price is not primary concern. Just the availability is.

Anyway, how's City Grips on your NMAX? hmm.gif
