I didn't really mind the sub-par speaker quality. I use my earphone most of the time.

2. Erm, things like camera, GPS, speaker, FM transmitter, bluetooth, musc player, memory card.

If you choosing slider type phone then you cannot avoid from ribbon problem... Better go for not sliding type then you can avoid ribbon problem...

If you still want sliding type phone then minimize sliding usage.

prepare rm80 for ap original housing.

The quality abit bad , if u want the Housing i can get for U Original OEM that came exactly like when u get the phone but prepare RM 320

Added on January 24, 2010, 7:26 pmI send my Phone off for Unlocking and Battery Replacement So far i agree with the battery RM 80 so i send it off to them they said the phone able to get today but When i call up they said the phone is been unlocked but once call out the phone shut down by it self but i seriously dont know what he did.

No problem for me Because is an easy task IF anyone wana replace their housing can look for me and aslo small charge will be imposed ^^

Another thing My phone still havent come back yet , so worry

Your phone is Ap or Original? I never heard that the outlook of the phone will be change from time to time.

By the way, my phone battery got a problem. The day before the battery kong , i used GPS and take quite some photo and the battery bars still full. Then the next day , i check the phone battery bar and it still full ..so i take a picture and use GPS for a while suddenly power saver mode activated and my battery bar just left 1...and after a while the phone shut down. Does anyone of you have the similar problem?

What you normally do with your phone? For me like just mp3 and sms(not alot ) my phone can last for 4-5 days.
Er..i doubt that your phone might not be 1st hand..and i'm not very sure of it. You need to confirm it with someone else.

at least n85 got usb charging...
take the opportunity to charge it when it is on pc suite

and make sure u close the apps completely whenever when u finish with it dy

I got a couple of questions about n85:

-Is this "normal" that keypad backlight doesn't come up when I power on the phone , and then slide the keypad?
I need to use keylock once before it lights up. And after that, keypad backlight works normal when i need to slide it out.

-I surfed with my phone to a web page where you can test dead pixels on your phone screen, and I did the test and
noticed that against blue background I see one pixel that is black. On other background colors that pixel looks yellowish kinda hard to spot, but its there.
So I is this dead pixel or dead _blue_ pixel or dead subpixel or stuck pixel or what...
I don't really know much about these pixel technology things 
and is it possible to try to fix that somehow?

Not true...my N79 is a year old now and it still last as the same as when I first bought it.

Generally it last about 4-5 days with average usage.

With GPS, yes, need to charge the same day (GPS use for at least 4-6 hrs).

The trick is to let the battery to fully discharge, turn your phone off and then charge, do this atleast once a month. 

You could have a defective battery, if so ask the reseller to change it.

as long u charge till the battery's animation stops den it is done.

u dont need to wait the phone's battery to finish completely only u charge. u can consider to charge it when it is half level or below
