Anyway, why sometimes my Garmin GPS seem to be take quite long time to get satellite signal, about 10-20 min. While sometimes less than 1 minute.  sweat.gif

if your gps is having a cold start(happens if u didnt use it for a long time) may take a long time to lock
so, i usually open it once in 2 days to keep it "hot"
usually locks under 30 secs with vkool tint rclxms.gif

May be your memory card already corrupted bro...

Last time I have problem updating my phone firmware using NSU. My simple and costly solution sent it to Nokia center. But after that I have no problem updating my phone using NSU.

That what I do when I have problem with the memory card. Format it using my phone not using PC.

Mine was AP unit and they accept it but I must pay for it. But after that when come out new firmware update, I have no problem updating it.

The other thing I always do to recover back all picture and video from memory card when it corrupted was:
1. Take out the memory card from phone and using card reader I scan for error using PC.
2. There is always an error and when PC fixed it there is always folder named FOUND.000, copy it to your PC
3. Open this folder and you will see a lot of file with CHK extension.
4. You can do manual selection from this file, it will be your photo, video and other file. Just change it back to original extension either JPG or MP4 file but it will take time to do it...

Hi, i've just updated my N85 firmware to Software version 31.002.
Do you know how to remove the shortcuts on the standby mode? eg. "Search:", "Set up e-mail", "Insert Internet Telephone", and "Share online"

Thank You. smile.gif

For search so far I can't find ways to unable the short-cut but for others so far I manage to hide it

1. Set up e-mail - Go to Menu>Tools>Settings>General>Personalisation>Standby Mode>E-mail Notification>Visibility>Off

2. Share online - Go to Menu>Photos>Share Online>Options>Settings>Advanced>Show in Home Screen>Disable

3. Insert Internet Telephone - If I'm not mistaken (remove it long time ago hmm.gif ) Move cursor to that short-cut, there is option to disable it...
