Me too.. I'm proud to be user of N85.

actually i'm started like N85 when i read the review in this forum [N85 thread V1] ..
that time Vint and alexdino always 'persuaded' me to buy this phone.. haha

this phone is really nice.. Best Nseries so far for me[that i have used.]
i have used N82 , N95 , N73 .. and i found that.. this is the best..

I remember read somewhere that 3rd party software for N900 was hard to find. But as for Symbian there is tonne of software to be chosen.

That what happen when Nokia 5800XM was launch but look at it today tons of software/games. With the processing power and graphics of N900 imagine how far it can go

anyway.. I'll stick with Symbian phone.. as long as Garmin/Ndrive/Sygic/Papago/Ovi Map not supported Maemo..

When u need 3rd party means the phone will be more laggy. So we comparing base to base first.

u not agree but its a fact. Try use N900 and u will understand it. Because i been a symbian user since Nokia 7650 and i heavily customize my phone.

Example video playback even i load a 1.4GB video file not even any lag. Try tat on your n85

well.. there is many factor..
1st.. the place.. if you open garmin in open place.. @ i.e outside your car.. and in open place.. no roof @ only sky.. and not in the building..
i'm sure you can get full@green bar in less than 2 minutes

2nd.. if u haven't open your garminxt for long time.. it can affect too..

3rd.. let say.. you open garmin in perlis.. than you off it while you still in perlis.. then.. you want to open in KL.. for sure it will take time.. as your GPS still locking at Perlis.. it will take time about 5 minutes to lock the GPS in KL.. ..

well in my N85.. I can say the GPS performance is excellent !!
