I'm trying a method of sleep called polyphasic sleeping, where 20-minute naps are taken at four-hour intervals. I have no idea whether it will work out, we'll see..
28/Jun 0000-0020 - didn't manage to sleep, but felt sleepy towards the end of my nap. when i switched the lights on, i was very awake.
28/Jun 0400-0420 - didn't manage to sleep again, and didn't feel sleepy towards the end. woke up immediately. it was hard concentrating on tasks. i gave up working at about 6:30, deciding to read a book and play around with a gym ball instead. couldn't focus on either.
28/Jun 0800-0825 - lengthened the alarm by +5 minutes to allow myself more opportunity to sleep. didn't manage to sleep again, and didn't feel sleepy towards the end. woke up immediately, took a shower.
28/Jun 1200-2000 - okay, epic fail. i slept through the alarms, a full 8 hours..
