I did not know at all the franchise "The Grudge" and its trilogy of the years 2004, 2006 and 2009, but I still wanted to try the horrific experience with this number 4: bad choice! To sum up in a few words, different people begin to have frightening and dangerous hallucinations after setting foot in houses haunted by tortured spirits. The story is not chronological (to complicate it a bit) and takes place at different points on the globe. The scenario is therefore nothing exciting and original at first glance, but it is far from being the only flaw !! Because side characters, dialogues and staging, it is weak, hyper predictable and without much interest. Certainly, a horror film must try to scare but not only! I had the impression of boarding an old ghost train forgotten at the bottom of a funfair without soul. Of distressing poverty.
