There are a few scary bits, and they then to sneak up on u, so that kind of scary.....

hey i watched from dusk till dawn when i was in form 2 i think. panggung wayang mini laser disc haha. me and my fens we also watch Dead Alive by peter jackson haha.

i can still remember the latino character with a gun that comes out from his pants and look like a d**k. 

huhu pasang cerita evil dead at school? haha. u were standard 4 some more. yeah as long as i can remember, evil dead went out somewhere before when i was in primary school. it was really scary with the cinematography, from spirits point of view when it come from the woods into the house. you can still see the same style of directing Sam Raimi used in drag me to hell. tilted camera angle, sudden zoom up, a bit comedy, and lots of gore, ppl getting possessed floats in the air. evil dead 1, evil dead 2, army of darkness, drag me to hell are sam raimi's best horror.

suspiria: i like the eerie theme they used and the soundtrack were composed and performed by italian band Goblin. creepy theme song.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose...
the best moment when i watched this movie, there was something rattling at my rooftop of my house. i was alone and watched it in the dark room...

He was referring to Evil Dead not Dead Alive..

Evil Dead is still the most 'awesomest', greatest horror movie to me, despite the cheesy acting, continuity errors and basic plot.

There are those who think The Omen is a comedy.

Me too think Dead Silent is a great horror

You know the part where the guys goes to the loo to take a leak, and then a snake arise from the bowel and BIT him in the *AHEM*

ARRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Gives me the SHIVERS everytime!!

didnt anybody mentioned Cloverfield. one of the best.

i got goosebumps when the first explosion occurs. when the ppl from the party went out the rooftop, made me thrilled!
first time watch Cloverfield in a cinema. first few minutes some ppl went out to toilet, another few minutes a lot more ppl go to toilet. half time, some ppl already leaving the cinema. yes first few minutes really got me dizzy, headache.

If you want blood and gore, try "Cannibal Holocaust".

Speaking of Exocist, I just finished watching Exorcist 3.
It is not bad.
It's not really about exorcism but it is a nice addition to the story.
It's a bit like Silence of the Lamb or maybe Silence of the Lamb is a bit like it.

I remember watching Silence Of The Lamb a few years ago.
It kept me on the edge of my seat.
So it is recommended.

As for Exorcist 3, I think it is way underrated during its time.
And it is a good addition to the original premise.
'Heretic' is The Exorcist 2...Which is boring according to my memory (I watched it ages ago)
The Exorcist 3 carries another name called 'Legion' (Not the 'Legion' that is coming out next year)
You should try Manhunter, a different adaptation of Red Dragon.
Yes, Exorcist 2 is a story about Regan after the exorcism, Exorcist 3 is related to Father Karras after the exorcism.
Of course, the first one is the scariest.

I read review on Angel Heart which says this is a good movie. and like usual, the good ones is hard to find. i dont know where to search for it, even in *ehem* dvd shop.
ohh the one with swarm of locusts eh? thats kinda ridiculous, not really entertaining.
The Thing is a good movie. my fav back in those years. i think watching Ichi The Killer can make me puke sometimes, but still love it!

The Thing (1982) is actually a remake, am i right? correct me if im wrong. back in the 70s we can see a lot of nudity too, but the trend nowadays is more on exploiting teenagers with sex. maybe it all started since Scream or I Know What You Did Last Summer.
