1) Deep Rising (1998) [Horror meter: 6/10]
It's about band of pirates attempt to stage a hijack of luxurious cruise ship only to find out sea monsters are crawling all over the ship.
My all time favourite B-rated. Watched it since I was 8 years old and I believe I've rewatched it 12 times in my lifetime.
Like the movie Jaws, the monster is kept in suspense and only revealed mid-half of the movie.

I believe most of us here already know about this movie.
Scariest part for me was

3) Annihilation (2018) [Horror meter: 8/10]
I'm surprised nobody mentioned about this movie. It's hard to understand but it's really FRIGHTENING especially when you watch without knowing what is going to happen.

4) John Carpenter's Prince of Darkness [Horror meter: 9/10]
Watched this when I was 10 and had to skip most of the parts. It's not my favourite but am mentioning here because it's perhaps the scariest I've watched so far.
**** that I'm not going to watch it again.
