A lot of the paranormal pictures used in Shutter are suppose to be real.

Also, if you had watched Pang Brothers The Eye 10, some of the "superstitions" in the movie are suppose to be real as well.

What about you Angel of Death, what is your Top Ten list of Horror movies?
*
Ju-On series - Can't get enough of this
Child's Play 1 & 2 - really freakin me when i'm 7 years old
Lot's of thai horror but forgot the title due to the complex title
Living Dead series by John Russo and George A romero ( but i prefer the smaller budget in the 60's, 70's and 80's rather than the new one )
Some indonesian like Pocong and Malaysia Jangan Pandang Belakang.
Maximum Overdrive - back in the day, i liked monster truck/Trailer
Jeeper creepers -
Rec (This is good too)
Silent Hill - pretty good for a game-based movie
Evil Dead 1 & 2 - this is my favourite
Keranda Berdarah - Malay old horror movie.
The Ring 1 & 2 japanese version, english version suck.
The Eye - Very good 1st view ghost 'revealing' movie.
Saw series - Jigsaw is really clever
Final Destination 1 & 2

That's all i can remember. Btw, can you recommend me some old skool horror movie?? Because i'm more interested in old movie.

Rosemary's Baby (1968)
The Omen (1976)
The Exorcist (1973)

Ohhhh! A remake of that is in production.
Have not watched the original because it seems like it sells sex in its trailer.

Yeah many 18sx scene but thats typical for b-movie which is on lower budget and do not have mass-marketing. But that not the reason i watch them.

Nice to have you back!

Thought we were suppose to be partners in crime on this thread!! tongue.gif

If you ask 10 person, 5 might like it, 5 might not.

Is it a remake (1959) same title.

It is worth one viewing. After you have watched it once it does not survive the second viewing.

Enjoy!

The 1959 version is good but for me it's not horror enough. Maybe because House on the Haunted Hill is more toward inner-demon type of enemy, so it kinda bored me. Any suggest for movie that is on same level with Evil Dead 1 & 2?

Devil's Advocate is good, but personally, I prefer Alan Parker's Angel Heart (1987, with Mickey Rourke, Robert De Niro and Lisa Bonet [of the Cosby Show fame]) better, the whole movie is pretty slow but the ending.... *shivers*

Going to be pretty hard to get a copy though. They just reissued on Blu-Ray and any "official" copy you find in Malaysia is going to be pretty hacked up!! *Sigh* Again, I hope I'm NOT encouraging inappropriately age people to go watch this. Definitely for the aged!!

old stuff is better. classic.

I remember after my first viewing of The Thing, it freaked me out for more than a week.
But i was only a 11yo boy.
The one with the locusts is part 2.
The one that I recommend is part 3. It is about Gemini killer.
I do agree with you.
Unfortunately, nudity sells.
I also hate PG 13 horror.
They are jokes.

Parental Guidance, so kids can watch it. Surely that kind of movie not my cup of tea. Btw, there are always some unnecessary nudity in modern horror movie which is stupid.

i'm more interested in original stuff than remake. Same like music, the original is better than remixed & remastered version.
