I don't recall there is any nudity in the Dead Alive.
Certainly, a lot of bloods.
It's more like a comedy.

He was referring to Evil Dead not Dead Alive..

Evil Dead is still the most 'awesomest', greatest horror movie to me, despite the cheesy acting, continuity errors and basic plot.

The ring(japanese version)
Ju-on(japanese version)
Dark Water(japanese version)

Theres one more movie which title i had forgotten. Its based on Stephen King's novel. There was a part in the movie where this kid walks into the dimly lit toilet and this clown with razor sharp teeth jumps out and eats the kid.
*
Yep, that's Stephen King's IT

QUOTE(xy2610 @ Nov 27 2009, 01:05 AM)
Definitely IT.
But for Stephen King's horror adaptation, none is better than 'The Shining'. IMO.
Just curious...Anybody seen Cujo?
This scene makes it look interesting

Eurgh. Cujo. I hate any movies that involves animal.. because I hate looking at cute dogs and puppy then get myself reminded how evil and badass Cujo is T__T But somehow I feel like watching Cujo again lol I've only watched the half of it.

Anyone watched "Nekromantik" 1 & 2? Oh my God, it's the sickest movie ever, similar to Cannibal Holocaust. From the name you can already get an idea that it's a movie about necrophilia.. as in sex with the dead.. it's really gross... the first one had a bigger impact than 2nd though.. the shock factor was awesome.

THe movie is deep.. it's not just about love for the rotten, decomposed dead bodies, but it goes deep about human emotion too..

The only thing I absolutely hate is the skinning/gutting of a real cute rabbit.. just like cannibal holocaust where they killed real animal. No animals should be harmed when making movies. If it wasn't for that, this would be one of the sickest, must watched movie.

Oh and the ending? ABSOLUTE SHOCKER.

No the movie is not 'REAL'.. but if you think it looks 'real' then the director is damn good

they've shown Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning a few times in astro.. and i've seen it at the stores, which video stores did you search it at?

I watched Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's assistant a few days ago, and during the trailer ads they showed the trailer of the remake 'A Nightmare on Elm Street'... is anyone as pissed as I am? Because I HATE how they remake classics and butcher the whole movie.. nightmare on elm street is what i considered one of the best 80s movie, and now they're gonna ruin it.. plus Freddy Krueger is not even played by Robert Englund.. and Freddy looks so different.. I hate remakes.

aik? really? bt the one that hav been shown at astro was not the unrated one. i want to watch it in full without cut here n there (UNRATED). hee.im from sabah, all the video stores don't sell that title anymore even at speedy. i look almost like the whole video stores at Kota Kinabalu bt cant seem to find it sad.gif  is the TCM:the beginning u saw at video store is UNRATED?

o yaa..i saw the trailer at utube n damn, it doesn't look like scary to me yawn.gif  bt still i want to watch it. hee. I think all those 80's horror icon being remake again like halloween, TCM, friday the 13th n yeah..the latest one Nightmare at elm street.

Of course astro would have heavy censoring lol i forgot where i watched it before, but i do remember once i watched it online and it's unrated.. anything sold at speedy/video store will be censored unless it's ya know... ahem stores lol those would for sure be unrated. Or how about ordering online? Might be a bit expensive..but cheapest way is downloading lol free and unrated. I stay in PJ so I see the movie at video stores here, but I'm not sure if it's unrated or heavily censored.

Yeah i'm disappointed they're ruining A Nightmare on Elm Street cry.gif I bought Children of the Corn TV remake DVD because I am a HUGE fan of the original children of the corn.. my advise is STAY AWAY FROM THE MOVIE. It's absolutely horrible! Horrible casting that makes you wanna strangle yourself, long boring draggy movie, and it's very true to the book.. the first movie, they added some scenes that wasn't in the book and I heard stephen king was not happy about it.

Horrible kids.. they're not scary at all.. the original's Isaac and Milachi were disturbingly chilling, this one.. urgh. Just bad, very very very bad. This is why I DESPISE remakes.

robert rodriguez & quentin tarantino teamed up to make grindhouse's planet terror and death proof, if tarantino team up with tim burton, they'll make an awesome dark horror movie

the haunting in connecticut, just watched it yesterday at cinema
at first i was disappointed as it is a pg-13 rated movie
but after the show, i must say it is the most scary pg-13 rated movie i ever seen, way scary than some of the 18 rated movies
it's recommended ! the movie is based on a true story
*
Really? I fell asleep during the movie. For me PG 13 can never be scary.

And the omen has been remade. As usual with all hollywood remake of the classics, it sucked lol

Quite old movie directed by Peter Jackson.. it's like a zombie movie but not about the dead coming back to life.. they look like normal people but actually zombie.. as usual with Peter jackson's movie like Dead Alive/Braindead.. its gore level is top notch.. not for the weak stomach haha.. quite funny too.. more like a light zombie movie, not scary, just very ewwwww
