Such system will never lose. there will be internal mechanism that will kicks in to ensure they will profit regardless of the outcome.
its exactly like a casino.

QUOTE(Panda @ Jun 29 2009, 10:05 PM) How do we know whether PennyAuction involves in self-bidding or not? That's the magic. they will ensure we won't know.Imagine if an auction never ends...PennyAuction will earn a lot from an item... I'm in IT line. such "AI" not hard to develop. Just continious monitor the auction intervals and calculate whether its time to "activate" a drone aka robot to auto-bid or not. Frustrated real bidder might continue to play along. And in the last minute when the minimum-value-that-ensure-they-profit is met, the system will just play nice and let the "lucky" user make final bid and win. |

As usual, greedy people who bet on "luck" will go full force and support such sites. When scammed, they will gather in mamak stall, ask reporter to come, bang tables and say government is not doing enough to protect them from being cheated.

Try finding part time jobs like the rest of us.Now I'm thinking of N97 & Ixus.. In case next time you go hungry , will someone start a pennyFoodAuction.com already? |

easy. just google the winner's user ID. usually a typical real human user will use his id in other forums/websites he is interested it, rather can creating new one which is hard to remember.
for eg. if the winner is dumbdumb1991, google it and if the result doesnt show much, most probably its a bot. |

photos of people happily holding their "winnings" is NOT NEW in the scamming industries.
Even if they are unique and doesn't have twin brother/sister in other countries... the scammers might hire them to pose with gadgets for lets say rm10 per photo. Poor ,desperate people are game for this kind of earnings. It's a poor man version of "whoring yourself in panties" photo session for sluts. |
