Michael Jackson's Moonwalker is the name of several video games created by Sega in 1990 that incorporate the personage of and were co-developed by Michael Jackson. The arcade version and home versions differ in terms of gameplay, but the story and concept remain constant. The story, which is taken from the Moonwalker film, follows Michael, using various music and dance related abilities, on a quest to save kidnapped children from the hands of the evil "Mr. Big". The games incorporated synthesized versions of the musician's hits, such as "Beat It" and "Smooth Criminal". The games have now achieved cult status and are remembered for being a memorable point in Jackson's change to a different stage persona from Thriller, to Bad.
Remember playing this game on the ol' Genesis/Megadrive?
When I was playing Henry Hatworth on the NDS and at one point Henry can switch into his robot suit, it clicks in my mind of MJ turning into a robot from this game
i played this for the first time in Penang insome hotel arcade, to at that time, it was great, seeing michael killing zombies with his dance move and fedora. I remember persuading my dad to buy it for the MD...
I got this for my megadrive... very interesting game when I first saw it on TV(Video Power, anyone remember watching it?) 1991 or 1992. Back then megadrive graphic so awesome.

missed my MD and this game and i blame it all to sony playstation.. coz of it had to sell md
still have the original game from mega drive.. if I remember correctly at the graveyard stage, have to catch the falling meteor/star to change into robot..
kinda hard to find the girl who annoying says "michael" repeatedly over and over . but the star to robot is damn fun . and the last stage where u can shoot like star wars kinda fun .
overall a bad hard game . if u do the spinning thingy will make u lose ur life .
its kinda ironic, after his death, then only he is a hero. when he lived, nasty words were thrown at him. Jacko was one of those stars who was framed by Illuminati badly. rip Mike.
I remember first seeing the game in the arcade on the second floor of Klang Ocean supermarket so many years ago. Never had a chance to play it. Also never had a chance to play the Sega Megadrive version even though I own a SMD (clone). But ah well.
I did however see the movie while in Singapore on vacation in 1992. They showed it on TV there.
I liked MJ music a lot back when I was young. As I grew older I started to neglect his music. Now after his death I'm listening to the music again.

if this game was so bad why did you play & finish playing it? It was a good game back then, not the best... final fantasy back then not popular yet.
