Can, I tried before.
However, if your video card is nVIDIA, I doubt you would able to play it properly using other than your monitor native resolution, as in the screen will shrink and leave some black gaps between it. Not sure now they already fix it or not, but worth try. This post has been edited by syNcv9: Jun 27 2009, 01:30 AM |

Most popular softwares now compatible with 7 RC. But it is best to wait for Final Release.

I officially tried COD4 on windows 7 and it works fine. Plus the black gap that sync is talking about can be adjusted by increasing ur resolution. It solved the problem for me. It is recommended though to use the RC version. I downloaded a so called Final Ultimate RTC and its caused some problems. The game runs fine itself but when it comes to playing servers with punkbuster, it causes punkbuster to kick me because of some unknown api function. But I agree with sync though. Wait for the full release and avoid dealing with all the bugs and problems.

Ya, but I always been playing with reso 800x600, so if change I have to change my sensitivity as well lol, so I reverted to Vista first.
For Punkbuster you mentioned, wait for Punkbuster update for latest Windows 7 RTC, then you wouldn't be kick anymore. Or.. just try to update your punkbuster now. |

Haha okay. Yeah, if ur used to low reso, it will be damn sucky. No surprise on why you decided to revert.
I don't think Punkbuster will update on RTC anytime soon. Even if they did already have the update, I'm sure they will release it in October which is hell long time to go. So yeah, like you said, revert to Vista FTW. |

Yeah, use the RTM version. Absolutely no problems. It's also damn handsome like me. Case in point:
