At first, I thought of buying Michael Buble BD too. Upon checking, only PCM Stereo. I put it back
*
The print on the box is incorrect. There are 2 audio tracks on this BD : (1) DTS-HD MA 5.1 and (2) PCM stereo. THe PQ and AQ on this one is top notch imho.

Oh, and the David Foster BD is also excellent. Great selection of songs and AQ is also brilliant.

Also, just watched Grease on BD just now. Very nostalgic lol. Can still remember all the lyrics and sing along to all the songs hahaha. I just realised NOW how "adult" the language really was. How young and thin they were back then too ..... (runs and looks in the mirror).

Dats right, but then again you wouldn't want to buy direct from Oppo ie., it'll be from US... then there's other issue like 'stepping down' power and etc. to consider.
as others have posted, all Oppo players come with universal voltage adapter. so u can just plug and play irrespective of which country you're in.

If that's the case, they should lock every single bd out there. Why some title are lock and some aren't.
*
the BDA has left it to the respective studios to decide if they want to lock or not.

guys... if I already have an order at Amazon U.S. (Not Yet Shipped), and I place another order, will they group it into same shipment to save shipping cost? I tried going to "view/change order" to add an item but failed to do so...
*
Not sure if it's still of any use. Sorry for the late reply.

You will need to create a separate purchase order for the second order (i.e. just add to cart and checkout like you normally do).

Now, click YOUR ACCOUNT and then click VIEW RECENT & OPEN ORDERS. You should see your 2 orders in your queue.

Click the WANT TO COMBINE ORDERS? button to combine both orders and recalculate the shipping.

Hi guys. Anyone bought Jet Li's Fearless from US amazon?

http://www.amazon.com/Jet-Lis-Fearless-Blu...i/dp/B001HUWQEK

The HK version has PCM 7.1 and DTS HD-MA 7.1. Would like to confirm if the US version is the same? THanks in advance.

US Fearless only have Mandarin DTS-HD MA 5.1 compared to HK 7.1

Hence HK version always more expensive. Another example would be Dragon Tiger Gate

I just watched Highlander. It's funny how your mind play tricks on u. On rewatching it just now, what i remembered as a great movie now feels and looks so so cheesy. my wife agreed. lol.

pq and aq so so only on this blu-ray. grain lovers will enjoy this.

On another note, just re-watched The Eagles Farewell Concert on hd-dvd. Wonder when we'll get this re-released on blu-ray.

Diana Krall seems to be very famous with "Live in Paris"

Anyone with the "Live In Rio" BD

Thanks

I have it. I found it so-so only in terms of PQ and AQ. No oomph like Michael Buble or David Foster's BD. Then again, I'm not really a fan of hers ... bought it because it was on offer at HMV.

Does the UK-version of Monster Inc. have the usual ratings logo on the cover?

Thanks guys. I'll wait for the US version then. I don't like that large nipple on my cases.

Most likely the Gladiator steelbook from UK will also be scarred by this. Wasted .....
