hi, i been collecting the new metal beyblade for sometimes now. right now i have storm pegasis, rock leonne, dark bull, dark wolf, earth aquila. if you want to buy beyblade for cheaper, jusco had offer on the first saturday on every month which is this coming saturday they offer an extra 10% for every offer item. so you will get 30% on this saturday for bey items. btw what kind of stadium do you buy i only saw the 2 piece basic stadium here and another stadium which spin in the middle but i didn't bought either of them cause i think the price is rediculous 119.00 for 2 piece of stadium!!wtf. i have a home make stadium now, maybe later those pirated bey will have their own stadium i remember last time i bought a pirated stadium when the first genaration beyblade come out only cost me 5 ringgit. do you know what is the age limit for tournament cause i afraid i am a bit too old to beyblade?

As for the Stadiums you are right in that we are paying $70-90 for flimsy pieces of plastic and cardboard. Never thought of DIY-ing one but i have seen a few cool ones on the internet - there is one that looks like a WWE / UFC cage that really stands out. Where did you find the pirated stadiums? Must check those out
for the competition i guess its for kids :-( as there is a column for name of participant followed by name of paremt :-o

bad, why do people always think adult shouldn't play with toys. i only have 5 right now and L dargo is next on the list. every bey have their strategy so its all depends. i swap my bey parts around to look for a better combo. is there more player at KL?
took my 7 yr old to the Isetan BeyBlade Competition and was surprised by the turnout - at least 32 entrants more or less - and it was pretty chaotic.
based on that turnout alone and seeing the various different type of Blades and Launchers that were on display i would venture to think that there is a big demand for BeyBlades.
unfortunately - as Doc W noted - it seems to cater for the under 12s. Which is a shame as there is a lot of strategy and tactic as well as technic involved which is lost on the kids. I Was too busy consoling my little boy who got knocked out in the qualifying round to go and approach the organisers to see if they could possibly have different categories ie: under 12, under 18 and "open". Of course this would then depend on whether there is a demand for it? From this topic in LYF there is hardly a huge response which would mean that for the moment the target audience would be the Cartoon Network crowd
yes it seems there is no demand from the adults, i saw in youtube there are plenty of adults playing with it at overseas. most of them just like me don't watch the show. we just like the sound of metal ripping each other. i feel sorry for your kids to lose early but hope he have fun beyblading .
do they have a game? no, i don't know but why don't just buy the real thing. btw just get my Ldargo at TRU queensbay mall at penang on my holiday also bought a booster 4. hoping to get the draciel metal ball defense but get flame aquila 100ES instead. not that bad since it has a 100 tracks good for storm pegasis.

i got my in jusco Melaka and TRU Queensbay penang. suggest you try finding in Jusco, TRU, Isetan. if you want to buy at Jusco check it out on every 1st saturday of the month. maybe they will have offer on 1 malaysia day too i think, cause they have offer during merdeka day. is gonna 30% usually just 20%.
ok,this is the beyblade metal fight i have collect. not planning to buy any of the starter as i only like those with clear wheels. my favorite beyblade metal is rock leonne cause i like his solid looks. has anyone see the grip in Kl yet?
lol, the secret is buy only on every 1st saturday of the month, i now only want to collect those character beyblade not so interest in the booster as most of the character beyblade already provide the parts i needed. i not senior lah just i more interest in this then many people so i intent to collect more lor. but i always like interactive games like board games, card games. i hope we will be able to have tournament like US host by our own player cause we are way too much older then the age limit for legal tournament.
i mean Jusco cause got extra 10% make it 30% but i not sure bout next month cause i think the sales will be over soon. if they take away the original 20% then there will only be 10% left. i still miss dark capricorn and burn phoenix and also flame sagitorious from what Malaysia currently having. has anyone see the bey launcher grip yet? super yoyo seems to be the left over from last season they only take it out for stock clearance i think.

junior tan@ where did you bought it ? i only want to get the GB145 metal ball defense from booster vol 4. , doing research now i heard longest spin can last almost 5 minutes
shinji@ i originally not intent to collect starter metal beyblade but i have to admit i do like their metal wheel the design is very cool. still thinking weather i should get them. i like the starter leonne, dark wolf, pegasus and sagitoriious. their metal wheel is very unique.
hi welcome to the club. i don't think we need to form team cause we only have 5 person actually talking in this thread. lets hope more people will join us then we can consider to form team. lol for the booster you can see all the beyblade getting random in the booster from outside the box chances of getting the beyblade you want is 1/8. just dont buy the slimmer pack cause they come with a plastic wheel instead of metal but they have some good parts inside too. so far only GB145 from booster 4 is worth collecting other parts you can just get buying the characters beyblade. or you could just buy the booster instead and when you have enough parts you can make the character beyblades. (hey how come i never think this before lol). the price for metal face is 14.90 is very useful for all beyblades.
viper@ the metal face is not as heavy as you but it will put up some weight on the beyblade to stop the beyblade being knock out from the field and also being heavy in the middle will let the beyblade spin longer if the beyblade not moving around. so the metal face is usually for stamina custom and defense custom. correct me if i am wrong just a conclusion from my little experiment.
junior@ i hope the trend going to start soon, btw more beyblade in JJ however the mega sales is gone so now i will wait for the next sales. be patient, seriously beyblade in normal price is freaking expensive. what i going to get when the next sales coming is the 3in1 beyblade set, there is 2 different set. B.phoenix and F.sagi is in my list too. and maybe a new stadium.
i actually like light launcher then bey launcher, cause light launcher seems like more powerful if you can pull the cord really hard, but bey launcher shot seems a bit weak for me cause you can't pull it out completely. i been busy this week so no time to make video yet, maybe this weekend will upload another video when i free.

latias93@ i was a big fans too back then, but then i already lost those plastic beyblade only left draciel and trygle (the all starz michael beyblade) but the jumping system broke but i like it very much so still keeping it. but this is a new different one. but actually i still think those plastic beyblade cooler, anyone agree with me?

Today just got myself a random pack vol 4. I got a Aquila~ ><" Why not just give me a Virgo?? XD It's similar to Draciel because it inherited the system
i got aquila last time too, aquila from booster 4 have a nice 100 tracks very useful on attack type beyblade. but still really hope to get the virgo
Added on October 9, 2010, 4:42 pmC145 (claw attack) use by sagittario in the show. in the show this tracks is say to be strengthen the stamina and allow longer spinning. but often i see it will become a suicide weapon when your beyblade lean to the side. and when the claw touch the ground it will lose balance. but still is very good for stamina beyblade allow them to spin longer. btw they also can be use to stop other lowrider beyblade to attack your tracks.

very busy this 2 week so no time to beyblade i think the best stadium to buy is the stadium which come in a plastic beg and they have one red and one yellow one inside the plastic. it cost RM119.00 but only need to pay around RM84 during sales, you get to have 2 different stadium to battle in. the red one is attack stadium and the yellow one is stamina stadium. so if you beyblade with your fren, use a coin to decide which stadium to be use, and if is a attack stadium and you were using a attack beyblade and your frens using a stamina one then you will have advantage of the field.
