You should bring water of cos... unless u dun mind buying drinks at the arcades whenever ur thirsty. At certain Kolej offices/central block, you may find a RO water dispensing machine. Price at 10sen per 500ml. Some places are free.

Facts for new students:
- Pls do not underestimate the size of the campus. Its pretty huge and has its own postcode. That shows u how big the campus is.

- Try to liaise urself wif seniors who have cars/motor if ur 1st yr. Sometimes you need transport esp when ur carrying lots of stuff, shopping for groceries or when you need to get to Sri Putri to take bus back hometown.

- UTM is not pedestrian frenly. There are no covered walkways. And JB is very exposed to monsoon seasons so the thunderstorms and rain are extremely heavy this part of Malaysia. Remember raincoats and umbrellas ok.

- Be prepared to eat Malay food all da time (fried fish wif lots of bones, sambal, curry etc) becos all food stalls in UTM are malay traders. Get to know seniors at ur block who may let u tag along whenever they go out of campus to eat.

Diploma at UTM Kl not that hard. As long you got a few As in SPM can enter dy.

Actually, I back for few days take some documents at UTM. Now at K16. LOL. I know u happy staying outside. Dun LCLY here. Im going back KL tmw then start work at SG on Monday.
