I used a hole punch to punch out round florescence sticker.
@ general nic Not really as i tried using only the 2 tubes, the florescence was not that glowing. The bottom n the right hand side uv tubes are quite dim, the CM ones. The top n left side are logisys one, they are just bright enough. Will add some more sticker later. Stay Tune. |

i think they are
because by the CM website, it says the Force 200 goes at 1kRPM whereas the megaflow is like a stock HAF 932 230mm fan only |

Seems like this thread got messed up
I'd suggest don't post until the thread burst. around 120 pages ,TS should close and proceed to new thread, prefer the previous organized ones. As sometimes you have questions about your casing, just such through the first page for current users. |

yea.thats true d fan on my cm hyper 212 also always slow... coz its controlled....
then normally my pc also not overclocked...and not stressed...so its mostly cool..then the fan which is a blue led long lasting coolermaster 12inch fan will spin slowly most of the time... only problem is that the voltage input to the fan is regulated so the spin is slow... and this causes the led brightness to be dim also.. can permanently use it on highest speed wit molex connector but + noise and + consumption... |

Wow.. this thread has been very active. I posted pics of 3 of my CM casing/rigs in the previous thread but I've made some changes to them and will soon post pics of all 4 of my CM casings once I've finished the cable management and equipment upgrades.
Currently am running: 1. Centurion 590 - main rig: need to add more UV stuff, upgrade fans (bought AC Ryan UV fans), CPU cooler and better cable management (since last pic post, I have upgraded CPU cooler to V10 reducing full load temps by 6-12C but not fully satisfied, trying out a dual fan TRUE Black next) 2. Centurion 590 - folding/torrent rig: need to upgrade 1 fan, add some laser LEDs and better cable management (no change yet since last pic post) 3. Elite 341 - folding rig: need to improve cable management (since last pic post, have upgraded CPU cooler to Zalman 9700NT, relocated HD for better GPU airflow, added an Aeroslot to improved GPU hot air exhaust - reducing GPU full load temps by 5-6C) 4. Stacker STC-101 - server: need to install CPU, mobo, cooler (V10 from casing #1), fans, 10 HDs, etc. (installation in progress, no pics yet) I may get another CM casing for my NAS rig (unless I buy a cheapo case instead), as I need to house 8-10 HDs and want a case with decent HD cooling (although trying to keep costs low). CPU cooling is not an issue as am using an old X2 3800+ which runs cool with my NT06-Lite cooler. |

QUOTE(nidzamputra @ Jun 29 2009, 12:00 PM) Looks very sharp Those are Xigmatek XLF 120mm fans right? How do you find them? Good enough for your needs? I'm thinking of a dual fan (Enermax Magma) setup for my TRUE. Picked those fans since they are 69cfm, reasonably quiet, no LEDs but with UV-reactive (or at least looks nice under UV light) fan blades, since my case is a UV-lit case, hence I don't want non UV lighting. Now the XLF and the Magma appear to have similar specs (CFM & dBA), hence my question. |

I think 4 the cable management, many of us are getting it wrong. It is not just sleeving n hiding all the cable. We should try to get a neat look (of course hiding n sleeving achieves this), so where we could not hide it, we should make the cable parallel to each other, so that they will not criss cross each other. Then just by using a cable tie to secure to hold the cables together.
I will snap a photo tonight if it is necessary to clearly shows what i meant. Just my 2 cents, please don flame me. |

ur right... neatness is the main thing with cable management.
but of course its neater if u can hide all the cables right? but when i do cable management my main issue isnt just neatness. airflow. i dont mind routing my cables in plain sight as long as it doesnt block airflow. |

QUOTE(Traveler @ Jun 29 2009, 03:54 PM) Although I think if you can neatly arrange cables, even if visible, it can accentuate the looks, especially if some or all of the cables are UV-reactive and you use UV lights. So basically if the cables are neatly arranged, it should look nice, whether its hidden or visible. And if visible, and some/all of it are UV-reactive, then it should give a nice neat glow under UV lights.Of course, if you hide your UV-reactive cables, leaving only certain portions exposed (usually the connectors and a bit of cable) then it's kind of a waste of having UV-reactive sleeving when you hide it all. In this case, you should be using UV-reactive connectors and heatshrink instead, as those are the parts that will be visible. This post has been edited by Traveler: Jun 29 2009, 06:10 PM |

talking abt vacuum cleaner stuff.. even if you have dust filter.. the dust will still be able to go in your case.. when i on my sniper for a whole day.. you will be able to see 1 or 2 layer of dust stick on the dust filter... |

Guys,
I've noticed something weird regarding my CPU's tempetrature after doing cable management and after added blings to my Desktop. Previously was like 45 degree to 55 degree. After manage the cables and bling it, the CPU's temperature rised and maintain at 57 degree to 60 degree. So I added 1 120mm(1.2k RPM) fan at the 5.25" bay this morning and the CPU's temperature now remain 55 degree - 57 degree. What should I do now? Suggestion please? Any idea? Add more fans?! Please don't ask me to change casing and CPU cooler, my dad will kill me for sure |

U have to let loose the cacings, check ur heatsink contact (remove, reapply, reassemble). Most prob omething went wrong when u did ur cable management. Is ur rig just been newly assembled lately? As far as i observed, temps usually go lower after certain time, i dunno why maybe the paste fused full between contacts or something, but thats just my guess. Be a little hardworking and re do it, cables and heatsink, no need strip bold n do all over again.

CCFL really doesn't effect much. @hermit23: My this rig ar, erm, bought last December. I only use about a month then I go to Miri and then my sisters use. Since now sem break, so I do some cable management and add a little bling bling to kill my time lor |

QUOTE(ezrasang @ Jun 30 2009, 09:32 PM) @Koki: i meant let them loose 1st, a bit of work required but its necessary. It could be the cables are routed where it inflicted pressure to certain part of ur heatsink, thus less contact etc. Once u checked fully then work on the again. When u disassemble the do slowly and to check if it affects any part of ur mobo/heatsink, dont put too much pressure to stretch ur cable etc. Cable management done once most of the time not really affective, i did mine like 2-3 times everytime got new hardware or a change of something in it. CCFL really doesn't effect much. @hermit23: My this rig ar, erm, bought last December. I only use about a month then I go to Miri and then my sisters use. Since now sem break, so I do some cable management and add a little bling bling to kill my time lor |

Waah, CM League very active. I post a question on page 7, now page 17!
Thanks for all those who reply Actually I'm looking at fitting in a Maxium II Gene inside, and my bedroom workspace is too cramp for Haf922. And I like the Black theme of Scout. I have look at the other casing. The other SFF are just too small for my clumsy hands. QUOTE(kerryking @ Jun 28 2009, 07:16 PM) |

I wasn't planning on getting the Gladiator 600, actually thought of getting a cheapo casing since this rig is basically a NAS rig that will be loaded with HDs (4 now, another 4 later), and placed in my store room next to my main switch. But I wasn't impressed my the cheap RM100 casings and so I went back to checking out CM casings, and found this for just over RM200. I liked the interior layout, and the fact I could put in 4x 140mm fans. Don't need a window for this rig, and I figured the fans will go a long way to keeping 8 HDs cool in a non-aircon tiny room thats likely to be quite warm in daytime.
I know its overkill but I bought 4x 140mm and 1x 120mm Xigmatek XLFs for this casing. Now all I gotta do is find 140mm air filters to keep dust out. |

the side panel got only 2 screw holes size, one big 230mm fan or just 4x120mm fan no 140mm fan size at the side panel |

QUOTE(ZeneticX @ Jul 3 2009, 06:55 PM) http://www.coolermaster.com/products/produ...cate=17&id=6564 The Gladiator 600 can mount:gladiator 600 oso oni can mount 2x 140mm fan at side 1x 120mm at the back behind CPU 1x 140mm on top (140mm fan included) 2x 140mm on the side panel 1x 140mm at the bottom front for the HD cage (120mm fan included, but can mount 140mm). After disassembling the casing, I found that the bundled 120mm fan for the HD cage is actually a LED on/off fan (according to manual, it's blue, I haven't tested) and it is connected to an on/off switch on the front panel next to the power & reset switches. I recall seeing a few LED on/off fans in LYP, so now I will have to go back and look for a 140mm LED on/off, so I can have 4x 140mm fans and not waste the LED on/off switch. One nice thing about it is that CM provided a dust filter to place underneath the PSU intake fan, so as to keep your PSU internals cleaner. |

yeah..
i found some design flaw of sniper.. the right panel without any ventillation really heat up your pc.. last time when i open my right panel and on the pc.. when i checked the proc temperature.. it goes down by 4~5 degree... and the gpu temp goes down like 5~8 degree... i'm thinking of buying another left panel and mod it so that i can put on the right side.. and u know the 2 small water tube holes beside the psu? if u don't put any tube to go through the holes.. dun put on the rubber thing.. cz it might block u from closing the left panel neatly.. |
