is SSD width smaller than floppy drive width. if not just mount it on the floppy drive bay. but honestly... SSD is non moving part to u can actually just plug it in and put it anywhere in ur case. no matter how u move ur case or shake it oso wont damage the internal 1. unless maybe u drop it in a spinning delta fan xD

the choice is easy. go with gladiator 600 with the side panel with fan mounting. it's cheaper and it provide better air flow. and there will also be some space for cable management. more over it's bottom mounting power supply and u can install top exhaust fan.
another thing to consider is the drive cage for hdd. i prefer the angle ones like in gladiator 600. makes cable management easier. they both had the same width so it would be the same for both casing if u are thinking if the cooler can only fit either casing. air flow performance definately gladiator 600 better. looks better too |

dust.... urgh.... kena rajin open up clean regularly..
u guys can go over youtube and search for dazmode he mod the bottom of the HAF for 3x120mm fazer rad. kenot mount at top as the rad very big and heavy. HAF can be consider one of the cheapest full tower out there... so being not aluminum and heavy can be compromise also la. if they could made intel edition nice also.. but wont be as cool as the AMD ones as intel dun have those fancy logo and design unlike amd has the dragon platform.. ATi has the ruby chick... intel got man in a white suit LOL |

feser radiator is FAT. and real heavy. not the regular swifttech rads. it's like 3 swifttech rads sandwich together.
high performance and crazy expensive stuff @nkarul85 wow ur 24 pin cable is really short and please have ur 120mm fan installed back at the rear exhaust... it is more important than to install it at the top of ur casing especially the unit above the ram. unless u have more powerful 120mm fan for rear exhaust. install back the pci bracket below the graphic card as it does no purpose there as u have most of the air exhaust through the top. no air will go through there. let the side panel fan do the job and things like lizards or cockroaches wont go into ur PC =) between the pci-e slot and and the pci bracket area. u will find that ur graphic card actually have a lubang u can tuck ur 8 pin cpu power cable through there. it would look nicer. the fan connector and the molex can be saperated. why leave the molex adapter dangling over there. but i would suggust u use molex power and bring those cable to the back of ur casing and power ur fan through power supply. would look much more neat. and nobody cares how ur cacing look at the back of the motherboard. since you only installed 2 hard disk drive why not saperate them by one slot. air can pass through easier and ur hdd will run cooler that way too. u can get something like a cable tie holes that u can stick at the mobo tray beside the mobo and tie ur 24 pin cable so that it looks straight and not senget like that. ur front panel header connector cables at the back of ur casing. i notice how u tie it up at the top there. notice the bending at the end of the motherboard tray which u have ur cables line up so that u can close the panel properly. u can actually tuck those cables through one by one at the opening above it. u can tuck the sata cable through also if u want. i would never recommend 12cm fan for both top exhaust fan as the honeycomb plastic at the top blocks the air flow for them to properly exhaust the air out. and some of the air will come right back down in between the 12cm fan. unless u wanna cut off the plastic honey comb. get 2x 14cm fan and install it there instead. |

ouh not the monsta. monsta is even more huge.
is like 4 rad stack together instead of the regular feser rad.... go youtube for dazmode. he got show that he tried to fit the monsta at the bottom but it's too big until with push pull config he can't even SLi if i could remember correctely. regular feser rad is already very fat. not to mention then even fatter monsta. mount on HAF top sure bend one. |

leave them hdd tray alone... removing them makes no difference. having them give some nice look PLUS u can hide extra cables below the most bottom hdd insert. i move my haf932 around also... penang - sungai petani - back to penang. not really that heavy lar actually.. mine is really really very damn heavy just because i have 5 hdd in it. removing them makes them a lot lighter. i drive an 16 years old iswara. i lie my case down sideways at the back and use the passenger seat at the front to hold my casing in place. u wan cheap, full tower, good performance, nice looking. there is nothing out there but HAF932 =D. but keep in mind. it is cheap for a reason. no dust filter = u have to clean regularly (i personally dun mind i like dissecting my rig from time to time). and also the weight. since it's all metal. btw mounting the feser exchanger 360 might not be a problem for atcs and cosmos s. HAF top side very soft only... u remove the fan and use ur hand to lightly press it then u will know why. it's really soft. material and build design bro. u can install it but u wont know what will happen in long term =/ |

i like big big stuff.. had my eyes on lianli only if i can afford it.. the one i eyeing cost rm2000 =.=. cheaper alternate dream case... silverstone raven RV02....
other than that... ATCS.... to me cosmos sux >< i toyed with my friend's cosmos S. cable management NIGHTMARE.... @nkarul85 HAF932 = Full Tower HAF922 = Mid Tower CM scout = Mid tower = to me a waste of money as the performance and the fan install option is less than CM690. UNLESS it's for lanparty with light weight components. rather save some money and get CM690 or gladiator600 or add some extra cash get HAF922 if i wan extra space in the casing. you can always buy a lanparty strap on thinggy for ur casing. can fit ur mouse and keyboard along and carry the whole thing like backpack. sunbeam make those. i am sure most of u guys know about this. if i am build a pc for lanparty. i'll choose a smaller and light casing and fit only 1 hdd and just a decent graphic card that runs all the games that we going to plan on LANparty. if u take the scout and think that the handle would easy ur transfering but u have ginormous ammount of stuff in the casing and make it heavy like a bunch of hdd and a big ass cooler + big ass graphic card. it beat the purpose of having that handle really as at that point it would be easier and more comfortable to carry the whole case the hugging method. if u wan to fit big big hardware inside. then go big with the casing. more airflow. better temperature. if u wanna carry the case around most of the time get smaller casing and also lesser hardware inside. i had a CM690 and then i swap to HAF932 with almost the same amount of hardware inside. honestly.. they feel the same to me when i am trying to bring my PC back to home town on semester break. both oso damn heavy. both oso a pain in the ass to carry. feel no difference really. just that now i have better temperature =D and i am satisfy with it This post has been edited by hahn87: Oct 25 2009, 01:34 AM |

hahah depends on ur room dusty or not only la... my penang room window look out ady main road d. very dusty. my langkawi room oso very damn dusty...
i tot HAF922 front drive bay cover got filter? correct me if i am wrong HAF932 however the holes are fully open lol. i personally have 4 xigmatek fan at the side as intake. 1 xigmatek fan at the bottom also as intake. front 230mm stock intake. stock 14cm fan moved to drive bay to serve as extra intake. stock 230mm fan top exhaust and 14cm xigmatek fan rear exhaust~ i wonder if i swap all 12cm intake fan for delta fan @@. unimaginable >< |

i did something like in the 2nd and 3rd rig u post note that my friend is using a cooler master real power pro 1000w non mudular PSU and 5sata hdd and 2 sata dvdrw. so those sata cables are the main issue. need longer sata cables!!! just to hide them off properly the 1st rig pic with the water cooling system got a lot of WC gadget to help hide things off and blend in nicely. @kerryking then HAF922 should be less prone to dust. just for those who chose the mesh panel must somehow filter it and also the bottom intake. by the way how was the storm force fan air flow compare to the original 230mm fan? curious to know. wanna change my front 230fan. current colour scheme a bit weird. red with white and a touch of orange....... nobody else in the forum with haf932 with 4 12cm powerful fan at the side? LOL. extreme dust collector~~~ i dun think i would ever make filter for them. wait till i finish my traning and move to a place with lesser dust >< when i get back to penang i will go over his place and redo the cables and see how xD This post has been edited by hahn87: Oct 26 2009, 06:22 PM |

@onnjeyyon
hoho bagus bagus. at least i ada gang xD btw would it be better to mount the cooler facing the back? once u stress the CPU all the heat will be sucked by the PSU. efficiency will drop bro. so does the lifespan of the PSU. btw the centurion 5 pretty well manage. thumbs up. the GC is pretty big for the casing tho =D nice and tight eh xD @bryanyeo it's not that modular PSU is not good. just that for those ppl who have a lot of equipment inside and use up most of the modular leads. when compare to a non modular psu. non modular will look much more neat. i would give the corsair HX1000w and exception tho. i like the modular cables. all flat =D |
