yeah, magnets are seriously not recommended to stick at comp hardwares
interfering with the metal things inside like ur HDD needle magnet can suck the needle up and then ur HDD spoiled |

i watched discovery channel showing they tested how well is hdd protected from magnets
they tried everything from pin size magnet to magnet size of your hands, but still the hdd works only when they used industrial size electromagnet, the 1 used to carry cars, the hdd is dead so the small magnet wont harm your hdd 1...
