QUOTE(Banzai_san @ Jun 26 2009, 11:38 PM) what other lens do you have? for me (no lens), I'd choose the tamron 1750 f2.8 for the flexibility alone for different shooting needs. thanks. at the moment am using a350. twin kit. what do you think?

QUOTE(Ahmike @ Jun 26 2009, 11:38 PM) tamron 17-50mm f2.8 i think can help you with those conditions. i tested on sony 50mm f1.8 and 28mm f2.8. i was more impressed with the 28f28.

QUOTE(Banzai_san @ Jun 26 2009, 11:55 PM) IMHO, if you are satisfied with the "performance" of your kit lens, then maybe it would be better to choose a different reach lens. But if you are not satisfied with what your kit lens are giving you, then tamron 17-50mm f2.8 is a nice choice. (but the 50mm f1.8 is tempting ) i've tried 50mm f1.8 today. the bokeh effect is impressive. the tauke quote me rm570. but btween minolta 50mm f1.7 and sony 50. which one will you prefer?
