Depends whether ur always stuck in a jam or not.. If ur stuck bumper to bumper everyday for 1-2 hours.. i think RM50@230km is acceptable. If not, do what i do.. pay toll to get to your destination. Probably add up to the same anyway.

QUOTE(smokey @ Jul 5 2009, 11:56 AM) WHAT?! 400! REALLY??????? for saga sport rims.. cost RM400 w/o tires??? I might as well fork out more to get better rims. I rmbr seeing rims + tires = RM200 for blm.. but i was wondering whether those were 2nd hand. Any info on 1st hand tires+rims? Recommend anywhere i can get it? QUOTE(ilovecookies92 @ Jul 5 2009, 12:06 PM) About 5 feet, if QTI and JPJ are still using kancil cars for road test, at least there's higher chances for me to pass. Seriously, not only short, still looks like young little girl handling a saga (can't imagine that). Whats ur height in cm??Actually sure can pass wan.. at the end of the day.. u have to giv them some 'incentive' to pass u.. (ie. $$$) not reli abt ur skill anyway.. lol. |

QUOTE(ilovecookies92 @ Jul 5 2009, 12:15 PM) In the mean time, I was wondering, since the JPJ has chosen Saga as the "car for road test", I think they assume all candidates no matter how short or how tall they are can actually handle Saga. So besides forwarding and making the seat upright, is there any ways to lower down the stering wheel and adjust the height of the seat. (Ya, I guess they are using the cheapest Saga). Yeap u can actually adjust the height of the steering wheel. There is a lever on the btm left side of the steering wheel in which u can tug it and adjust it to any height you want. |

Computerised tuning? What is that? I'm also concerning about my FC. 220KM for RM 50++ pump. I've done my first service. I think I will drive to Proton SC in Mutiara Damansara for a check soon. Added on July 5, 2009, 11:55 amDo you think this is possible for the FC? http://kereta.info/proton-new-saga-blm-fue...ult-44-kmlitre/ For an Auto, RM 50 can go up to 768KM?
mike, yours auto right? mine too. now my fc is 180km per rm50 ... sei for lor
LOL.. i think its cuz u stuck in jam everyday ar?? Saga air con makan damn alot... if ure driving in the morning like 8am.. try to conserve on air con, since its cold anyway... that's what i do.. anyways, one week, i din use toll, my fc drop ALOT.. i think RM45@220km only. I pay toll.. go back to normal already... maybe rm0.17/km? (still have to go through little bit of jam) But either way, why i think take toll is better.. is cuz.. 1) save time, 2) save petrol (ofc u pay toll fee la.. so cancel each other out) 3) Your car doesnt depreciate as much since u travel less km's by taking toll. so long run, short run.. win win situation. @siuyi But then i wanna buy 1 tyre + rim.. not the all 4.. (my car wheel got stolen.. so i got ntg to trade oso T.T) One guy offer me RM250 for tyre+ rim 2nd hand.. (his tyre oso got stolen but then he change all the rims) so he's selling it off-his stock tyre+rim.. its in good condition.. only 3-4 months. U think its worth it?? If not got any shop to recommend to buy the rims ar? |

QUOTE(klk89 @ Jul 8 2009, 04:06 PM) That's the same occurring to mine car also. I didn't even press the brake when it moves slowly it got that kind of screeching sound. After temperature is rise to 2 bars or more..the sound no more ad. ._."" Hmm... mine oso.. but then not until auto got sound without pressing the brake pedal.. urs more geng. lol. It probably just means that ur brakes hangus already? Better get it checked. I realised that my brakes from not-so-makan to become even-more-not-so-makan now. =.='' |

QUOTE(klk89 @ Jul 11 2009, 05:20 PM) Errmmm.... dunno whether this question had been asked before. Does our reverse sensor(for M-Line) sometimes detects and sometimes don't? It happened to me twice. When I reverse until its almost hitting to an object, the sound won't beep(no sound at all) until it almost touches(just 1 cm to be hitted) the object then only a long beep sound occurs. Sometimes, this gave us a wrong estimation on whether an object is approaching like car or children running. That's why I don't really rely on this car's reverse sensors. Got any after market reverse sensors that is good? Feel like want to throw away the factory fitted one. The sound is not loud enough. Usually what i do is turn off the radio (or to about vol 4, and reverse slowly.. that way i can hear the beep and the sensor picks up the surrounding objects. Try going slower when reversing, and it should work fine. But yea, its just 2 soft, and not sensitive enough. But oh well.. what you expect. lol. |
